TLC HOSTS ROYAL WEDDING EVENT AND LIVE BROADCAST IN TIMES SQUARE ON FRIDAY, APRIL 29

Multi-Platinum Singer Songwriter Colbie Caillat and Entertainment Reporter Amanda Byram to Join Top TLC Talent Clinton Kelly, Randy Fenoli and Monte Durham

(New York, NY) - Starting early morning on Friday, April 29, TLC is culminating the network's week-long event of Royal Wedding programming (89 hours of coverage) with a live production event and viewing party from Times Square. TLC will takeover the Father Duffy Square area of Times Square and broadcast a pre-show and coverage of the wedding on two of the most dynamic digital billboards in Times Square. Starting first thing in the morning, guests will join TLC talent and celebrity contributors to celebrate the big day, as they watch the wedding live on jumbotrons and take part in various on-site activities including a SAY YES TO THE DRESS fashion show featuring past favorites from the show and the on-site weddings of three lucky couples. TLC has secured Grammy-winning, multi-platinum singer songwriter Colbie Caillat to be part of the event with a live performance. The live televised portion will be produced by ITV Studios America.

"Since so many of us in the US are caught up in the excitement of William and Kate's wedding, we thought we would bring some of the festivities and live coverage across the pond to the hometown of TLC's hit wedding series SAY YES TO THE DRESS," explains Tom Carr, SVP of Marketing for TLC. "And if you're going to celebrate the biggest wedding of the decade in NY, there is no better place to do it than in Times Square."

"This is without question the most widely anticipated wedding in a generation," ITV Studios America President and CEO Paul Buccieri commented. "We couldn't be happier continuing our relationship with TLC on this exciting live event".

Caillat's new single "I Do", written by Caillat and Toby Gad and produced by Greg Wells, is a fun, upbeat track which finds Caillat equivocating about finding someone to be in a relationship. "I Do" is the first single from Caillat's May 3rd release, ALL OF YOU. Her multi platinum selling debut Coco (2007) debuted at #3 and included the hit single "Bubbly", one of the best selling digital tracks of all time, and "Realize". Caillat's follow up Breakthrough, debuted at #1 on the Billboard album charts. Caillat has won two Grammys, including one for the song "Lucky" which she wrote and recorded with Jason M'raz, and been nominated for an American Music Award, a Teen choice Award and was named by Billboard Magazine as Breakthrough Artist of the Year. She also works closely with the Surfrider Foundation and Save the Music and recently became a spokesperson for the Humane Society.

Entertainment Reporter Amanda Byram will also join Colbie Caillat and TLC talent for this momentous event. Byram started her career as a model and went on to host the TV3 morning show "Ireland AM". She then moved into British TV hosting shows including "The Big Breakfast" and "Liquid News". In 2003, she co-hosted the Miss World Pageant Live from Chica with Phil Keoghan from "Amazing Race." She broke into the American television market as the host of the reality series "Paradise Hotel" and "The Swan". In 2007, Byram co-hosted GSN's "Grand Slam" with Dennis Miller. She's also served as host of the UK version of "Entertainment Tonight" and currently hosts the UK edition of ABC's "Wipeout" on the BBC.

TLC talent will be reporting for the network as well, including favorites Clinton Kelly and Monte Durham - who alongside Amanda Byram will be reporting live from London - and Randy Fenoli, who will be hosting the network's on-air coverage from Times Square.
