IFC.com Presents the Original Comedy Series, "Wilfred"

IFC today made the entire first season of the original Australian comedy, Wilfred, available for exclusive streaming on IFC.com.

The groundbreaking eight episode season follows Adam (Adam Zwar) and his difficult yet hilarious relationship with his girlfriend's dog, Wilfred (Jason Gann). Wilfred is a jealous, vindictive and calculating dog who also happens to think he's human. When Wilfred isn't getting stoned or digging holes in the backyard, he's actively working to undermine any hope Adam has of truly winning Sarah's heart.

EPISODE SYNOPSES

Episode 1: There Is A Dog

It all starts out like a dream come true: boy meets girls, boy likes girl, girl invites boy back to her place. But the dream quickly turns in to a nightmare when they get back to girl's place and boy is confronted by her territorial canine companion. The horror of Wilfred is now Adam's reality.

Episode 2: Dog Day Afterglow

Adam and Sarah are enjoying the fruits of new romance when she decides to have a serious talk with him about the other male in her life, the one who drinks from a bowl and licks himself. To win her heart, he must also win Wilfred's.

Episode 3: Dogs Of War

Sarah calls for armistice in the ever-escalating conflict between Adam and Wilfred. Putting her happiness before his own, Adam extends the olive branch to Wilfred and a new era of peace blossoms between the two of them. At least until Wilfred makes it clear that he has every intention of tearing Adam's throat out.

Episode 4: Walking The Dog

What could be more relaxing than a day at the beach? The answer: any day without Wilfred. Ever the optimist, Adam and Sarah take Wilfred to the beach for some fun in the sun. But Wilfred's idea of having fun has less to do with the sun, and more to do with making Adam's life miserable.

Episode 5: The Dog Whisperer

At their wit's end to correct Wilfred's behavioral abnormalities, Sarah and Adam turn to a TV Dog Therapist to come to the house to soothe their savage beast. And no sooner do they send in their letter than the doorbell rings and the healing begins. Wilfred seems to be on his best behavior. Has he had a change of heart, or is this just another one of his tricks?

Episode 6: Dog Eat Dog

When Sarah mentions she saw an old friend on TV, Adam and Wilfred enjoy a rare laugh together. But things stop being funny when it turns out the friend is a handsome actor, with an equally dynamic dog of his own.

Episode 7: Barking Behind Bars

Up until now, Wilfred's had a good run but that run is about to hit a bump. Finally pushing Adam over the line during some playtime in the park, he finds himself without a friend in the world and is cornered by two dogcatchers. Suddenly on death row, with Sarah unaware of his impending demise, can Wilfred hope to be saved before he's put to sleep?

Episode 8 : This Dog's Life

Much to Adam's surprise and dismay, Sarah decides to break up with him. Not ready to give up on her, Adam tells her he's always there in case she has a change of heart. Love hangs in the balance as the season comes to a close.
