BLING RING (Lifetime) - Jennifer Grey is set to star while Leslie Hope is on board to executive produce the upcoming telefilm, based on the true story about one of Hollywood's most notorious burglary rings that was a group of middle-class teens from a Los Angeles suburb. Orly Adelson and Jon Eskenas also serve as executive producers for Orly Adelson Productions. No other auspices were given.
BLUE BLOODS (CBS) - Michael Pressman has been tapped as a co-executive producer for the show's second season. He'll serve as in-house director on the series, which recently added Ed Zuckerman as showrunner. They'll fill the void left by co-creators Mitchell Burgess and Robin Green, who opted not to return for its sophomore run.
FEAR FACTOR (NBC) - The Peacock has issued a casting notice touting the return of its former gross-out mainstay. "Think you have what it takes to face your fears? Fear Factor is BACK and casting NOW!" reads NBC's casting page. "'Fear Factor' is the competition reality show in which contestants must decide if they have the guts and determination to face their fears while outpacing the competition. This hit TV series is back and ready to challenge teams of two to compete for up to $50,000. To apply now, go to www.fearfactorcasting.com. There, download an application and find out more information on open calls and video submissions. OPEN CALLS will be held in southern California in June/July 2011.
