THE GIRLS ARE BACK & THERE'S GONNA BE TROUBLE

"WEEDS" & "THE BIG C" RETURN WITH NEW EPISODES MONDAY, JUNE 27TH AT 10PM

On Monday, June 27th, Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) and Cathy Jamison (Laura Linney) are back on SHOWTIME with the debut of the new seasons of WEEDS (10pm) and THE BIG C (10:30pm). On WEEDS, our favorite quick-change artist Nancy Botwin has spent the last three long years in Federal prison for murder. Now she's out and back on the scene -- harder and bolder than ever, which is a necessity now that she's relocated to New York City. Will she be able to re-start the business from the strictly run halfway house where she's finishing her sentence? Will she reunite with little Stevie and the boys, Andy (Justin Kirk), Silas (Hunter Parrish) and Shane (Alexander Gould), who've been stuck in Copenhagen along with Doug (Kevin Nealon)? As they say, all will be revealed...

Meanwhile, it's fall on THE BIG C season 2 and Cathy has become an all-out warrior in her Stage 4 melanoma fight and Paul (Oliver Platt) has stepped up to become her "cancierge." A new oncologist (special guest appearance by Alan Alda) is on the case with some, experimental treatments that might buy her some time since son Adam (Gabriel Basso), who is also progressing into a bigger brat to cope with his mother's illness, could still use some fine tuning. He's put in his place a bit by Andrea (special guest star Gabourey Sidibe), who is now growing even closer to the Jamisons. And although Cathy's brother Sean (John Benjamin Hickey) is angry at his sister for hiding her condition, he's finding a sliver of hope in the future now that his girlfriend Rebecca (special guest star Cynthia Nixon) is pregnant.
