BIG MIKE/LONGMIRE (A&E) - The cable channel has reportedly passed on the Greg Grunberg-led drama pilot "Big Mike" and is mulling a series commitment for fellow pilot "Longmire." The latter, based on the novels by Craig Johnson, stars Robert Taylor as Walt Longmire, the charismatic, dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Greg Yaitanes directed the Warner Horizon Television-based hour from a script by Hunt Baldwin and John Coveny. Grunberg then played the title character in "Big Mike," about a plus-sized detective in a world where plus-sized is a minus. Ed Decter and John Strauss were behind the Sony Pictures Television-based hour, helmed by Paris Barclay.

MEET JANE/UNTITLED MICHAEL SARDO PROJECT (Lifetime) - The network is understood to have passed on its two remaining drama pilots. Molly Parker toplined "Meet Jane," from Andi Bushell, about an unhappily married mother of two daughters who is suddenly re-energized and empowered when the FBI enlists her to spy on her husband; while Carrie-Anne Moss starred in the Sardo project, about a woman who moves to Philadelphia to work as chief of staff in the psychiatry department at a university hospital. A third, Josh Berman's "Criminal Behavior," was tabled back in February following the pickups of "Against the Wall" and "The Protector."

REVENGE (ABC) - Max Martini ("The Unit") has scored a role on the upcoming drama, which stars Emily VanCamp as a mysterious woman who moves to the Hamptons to ruin the Grayson clan for their past misdeeds. He'll recur as Frank Saunders, "a rugged, pragmatic private investigator hired by the show's wealthy patriarch, Conrad Grayson (Henry Czerny)." The newcomer launches Wednesday, September 21.
