LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC Family's flagship drama "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" will wrap its summer run on Monday, September 5 at 8:00/7:00c, network sources confirmed this afternoon.
Said date will cap an impressive 24-week streak of consecutive originals by the series, which began with the back half of its third season on March 28.
Newcomer "The Lying Game," which launches this Monday at 9:00/8:00c after "Secret Life," will then slide into the 8:00/7:00c hour come September 12 and continue into October.
As for the rest of its summer lineup, ABC Family previously announced finale dates for "The Nine Lives of Chloe King" (August 16), "State of Georgia" (August 17) and "Pretty Little Liars" (August 30) while "Melissa & Joey" will wrap its expanded freshman run on September 14 with back-to-back episodes.
