GYPSY TEA ROOM (NBC, New!) - Chris Monger ("Temple Grandin") has set up a new drama at the Peacock which "peels back the beaded curtain on a storefront psychic operation on Hollywood Blvd." Universal Television and Working Title Television are behind the hour, which the latter's Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Daniel Pipski will executive produce alongside Monger. MCMAFIA (NBC, New!) - Matt Johnson and John Turman have snagged a script order from the Peacock for a new drama about "the global, borderless nature of criminal organizations in the 21st century." Said effort, from Universal Television and Working Title Television, is based on the non-fiction book by acclaimed British journalist Misha Glenny. Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Daniel Pipski will executive produce with Johnson and Turman serving as co-executive producers. (Deadline.com)


THE MUNSTERS (NBC) - The Peacock has given a pilot order to Bryan Fuller's revival of the much-ballyhooed 1964-66 comedy. Universal Television is behind the hour-long project, which envisions "Grandpa Sam Dracula is essentially Dracula who assembled Herman because no man was good enough for his daughter Lily, a sexy vamp. Lily's niece Marilyn the freak is actually normal and Lily and Herman's only child, Eddie, has his werewolf tendencies surface in puberty, forcing the family to relocate to their famous 1313 Mockingbird Lane address." It's understood said effort is being considered for a summer or other event-style run. (Deadline.com)


MY NUCLEAR COMEDY (NBC, New!) - Lucy Dahl has booked a new semi-autobiographical comedy at the Peacock about her own family "which includes seven children, multiple dogs and a pig named Francis Bacon who lives in a closet in the guest room downstairs." Sally Robinson is supervising the Universal Television-based half-hour and executive producing alongside Dahl as well as Working Title Television's Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Daniel Pipski. OFF THE GRID (ABC, New!) - Eilis Kirwan has set up at a new drama at the Alphabet about "a mother of three who is framed for a crime she didn't commit and subsequently goes on the run to the wilds of Northern California." ABC Studios is behind the hour with Working Title Television's Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Daniel Pipski also serving as executive producers. (Deadline.com)
