SAVE THE DATE FOR CMT'S NEW WEDDING SERIES "SWANDEROSA" PREMIERING FRIDAY, JANUARY 20

The Swan Family Transforms their Texas Estate into a Premiere Wedding Destination

NASHVILLE - January 5, 2012 - From the unforgettable to sometimes the unimaginable, each weekend the Swan family transforms their 18-acre Texas estate into a wedding wonderland as chronicled in the new CMT series, SWANDEROSA, premiering Friday, January 20 at 10:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT. When most families are planning their summer vacations, the Swan family goes into overdrive with the kick-off of wedding season. They run an elaborate event-planning business based in their own backyard, just outside of San Antonio. Eldest daughter Ashley coordinates the events; mom and resident perfectionist Judy executes her floral visions; dad Tom spins custom mixes as the house DJ, Dr. Smoove; and younger daughter Lesley is a whiz with a glue gun and some power tools.

In the debut episode of SWANDEROSA, the Swan family races against the clock to pull off an over-the-top Great Gatsby-themed wedding. Before the couple says "I do," Ashley searches for the perfect rare roadster to complete the day, while mom Judy obsessively transforms the property's "Sweet Shop" into a 1920s speakeasy. Each week the family is tasked with even bigger challenges, ranging from a bizarre request for live peacocks to a carnival wedding complete with a full-size Ferris wheel and midway.

The eight-episode series SWANDEROSA is produced by 44 Blue Productions with Stephanie Drachkovitch and Jacquie Dincauze serving as executive producers, and David Hale as co-executive producer. Claire McCabe and Jayson Dinsmore serve as executive producers for CMT.
