BRAVO MEDIA ELEVATES DEIRDRE BIANCHI TO VICE PRESIDENT, PROGRAM PLANNING AND ACQUISITIONS

NEW YORK - January 10, 2012 - On the heels of announcing a 25 percent increase in the network's original programming for 2012, Bravo Media further strengthens its programming team by elevating Deirdre Bianchi to the newly created position of Vice President of Program Planning and Acquisitions. In her new role, Bianchi will oversee the strategic scheduling of Bravo programming, all off-network and motion picture acquisitions and serve as the network's conduit to NBCUniversal's cross platform programmers. In addition, she will focus on Bravo's upcoming 2012 programming slate, including establishing the popular interactive late night talk show, "Watch What Happens: Live," to five nights a week. Based in New York, she will report to David Brewer, Vice President of Program Strategy and Acquisitions.

"Deirdre's invaluable experience and passion for television make her vital to the evolving programming landscape at Bravo," said Brewer. "We are fortunate to have her on our formidable team that will raise the network's programming to new heights in 2012."

Bianchi previously held the position of Senior Director of Strategic Program Planning where she managed the creation and distribution of Bravo's schedules including episodic and movies. During her tenure, the network has increased programming by 25 percent and ascended from No. 13 to No. 11 ranking among all cable entertainment networks with adults 18-49. She was instrumental to the expansion of original programming to five nights a week starting with "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" moving to Sundays in Fall 2010 and most recently with the network's successful "First Look Friday" launch. Bianchi also played a pivotal role strategizing on the series launches for "Chef Robl & Co.," "Pregnant in Heels" and "The Real Housewives of Miami."

Prior to joining Bravo, Bianchi worked at Comedy Central as Director of Program Scheduling where she managed the program scheduling team which launched the hit series "Tosh.O." Previously, she lived in San Diego where she programmed for the FOX and UPN affiliates. Bianchi graduated from Fairfield University with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Management. She currently resides in Montvale, New Jersey with her husband Drew and daughter Sophia.
