Monday Dramas "Gossip Girl," "Hart of Dixie" Renewed by The CW

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The CW has renewed its current Monday dramas "Gossip Girl" and "Hart of Dixie."

The former will return for an 11-episode swan song - as first reported by Vulture.com - while the latter is due back for a sophomore run.

Collectively said duo has come in under last year's "90210" and "Gossip Girl" pairing with declines of 9% in total viewers, 13% in adults 18-49 and a whopping 24% in the netlet's target demographic of women 18-34.

[UPDATED! 2:47 PM] Deadline.com reports that "Dixie's" renewal is for a full season of 22 episodes.

[UPDATED! 2:53 PM] TVLine.com adds "Gossip Girl" showrunner Stephanie Savage has tapped co-executive producer Sara Goodman to replace the "Smash"-bound Josh Safran as executive producer.
