ANONYMOUS (FOX, New!) - Jason Katims ("Parenthood") has scored a put pilot commitment for a new drama at the network about "a rebellious, hot-shot wunderkind who is plucked as the CIA's latest recruit and teamed with a seasoned handler with whom he forms an unlikely father-son relationship." Feature writer Simon Kinberg ("Sherlock Holmes") will executive produce the hour alongside Katims for Universal Television with Michelle Lee serving as a producer. (Deadline.com)


HOLIDAY (NBC, New!) - Gina Fattore ("Californication") is developing a new drama at the Peacock billed as "the story of a large extended multi-cultural family told only through the holidays." Universal Television, home to Fattore's recently signed two-year overall deal, is behind the hour with Dawn Parouse Olmstead also attached as an executive producer. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED HOBERTS PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Tim and Michael Hobert have sold a semi-autobiographical comedy to the Eye about "a newly married man who happens to be from a big family... he just doesn't know it yet." Warner Bros Television is behind the multi-camera project with Tim Hobert ("The Middle") executive producing and Mike Hobert serving as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED NASTARAN DIBAI PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Nastaran Dibai ("Retired at 35") has booked a script commitment from the Alphabet for a new comedy about "a widow who is trying to move on with her life." Dibai herself lost her husband/writing partner Jeffrey Hodes a year ago. The presumably multi-camera project comes from ABC Studios with Aaron Kaplan, Mindy Schultheis and Michael Hanel executive producing alongside Dibai. (Deadline.com)


WHITE HOUSE CONFIDENTIAL (NBC, New!) - Sri Rao ("General Hospital") has landed a potential drama at the Peacock described as an "Upstairs, Downstairs"-esque soap "set in the White House, told from the point of view of a young female doctor who has a secret from her past." Storyline Entertainment's Craig Zadan and Neil Meron are also on board to executive produce the hour alongside Rao for Universal Television. (Deadline.com)


AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Simon Cowell wrote on his Twitter feed that he "just heard Randy [Jackson] is back" on "American Idol" (@SimonCowell); "Beauty and the Beast" executive producer/pilot director Gary Fleder has inked a two-year deal with CBS Television Studios, ending his Mojo Films' six-year run at ABC Studios (Deadline.com); and Liza Minnelli will reprise her role as Lucille Austero on Netflix's revival of "Arrested Development" (TVGuide.com).
