ALL-NEW OWN SPECIAL "GOLDEN SISTERS" PREMIERING SUNDAY DEC. 16 FEATURES THE REAL LIFE COMEDY OF THREE SENIORS LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST

Los Angeles - "Golden Sisters" is a special one-hour presentation and real life comedy following the hilarious adventures of Mary, Josie & Teresa Bartnicki, three sisters who shot to fame after a web video of the ladies watching a celebrity sex tape went viral. "Golden Sisters" premieres Sunday, December 16 (10-11p.m. ET/PT) on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

With Mary in her eighties and her twin sisters not far behind, these three raucous women are not your average seniors. Between running a successful salon and giving colorful advice to their growing online fan base, these spirited, lovable ladies share their outrageous opinions on everything from sex and dating to celebrities and pop culture. One minute they are at each other's throats and the next minute they're best friends, sharing a lifetime of memories and providing an endless supply of laughs.

In the special with two original half-hour episodes back-to-back, Mary creates an online dating profile prompted by Josie and Teresa. After a consultation with a dating coach where she learns how to flirt and walk with a wiggle, Mary agrees to one date, only to learn that Teresa has hacked into her profile and set her up with not one, but four dates. Calamity ensues when the twin sisters spy on their older sister's dates. Then, the sisters receive a tweet about the rumored Apocalypse coming at the end of 2012 and realize they are not prepared. After a trip to the supply store for emergency materials; camouflage survival gear, helmets and gas masks, the sisters stop in a karate studio to learn defense tactics. Bracing themselves for disaster side by side, the sisters are now ready to brave any doomsday scenario.
