UNTITLED JESSICA SIMPSON PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Jessica Simpson ("Fashion Star") is set to topline a potential single-camera comedy at the Peacock inspired by her own life. Nick Bakay will pen the proposed pilot presentation off a story he conceived with his wife, Robin. He'll also executive produce alongside Simpson, her father/manager Joe Simpson and Electus' Ben Silverman for Universal Television with the latter's Jimmy Fox also serving as a co-executive producer. AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Oxygen has pulled the plug on its one-hour special "All My Babies' Mamas" following complaints from Change.org, The Parents Television Council and other organizations (Deadline.com); TNT has passed on its Mira Sorvino-led drama pilot "Trooper," which was previously filmed by CBS and since reshot for the cable channel (Deadline.com); Bethenny Frankel will guest on "The Neighbors" as "a businesswoman who offers to help launch Debbie Weaver's (Jami Gertz) handbag business" (EW.com); Debra Jo Rupp is set to visit "Hart of Dixie" as Wanda's "gin-loving mom who comes to Bluebell for a visit" (TVLine.com);
