SPIRITS BEWARE! SYFY'S HIT PARANORMAL SERIES "HAUNTED COLLECTOR" RETURNS FOR THIRD SEASON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6 AT 8PM

NEW YORK - February 12, 2013 - Ever have an object in your home that doesn't seem quite right? That you suspect might be... haunted? Then call John Zaffis and his paranormal investigators, who return for a third season on Syfy's popular series Haunted Collector, beginning Wednesday, March 6 at 8PM (ET/PT).

In the series, whose viewership jumped 13 percent among Adults 18-49 last season, eminent paranormal collector Zaffis travels across America helping people terrorized by items containing paranormal spirits or energy.

When they encounter a ghostly problem, Zaffis and his team work with the owner of the object to find the best solution, either returning the item, burying it on site or bringing it to his paranormal museum in Stratford, Connecticut, where objects are specially stored to keep their powers at bay.

On the season three premiere, Zaffis and his team travel to Montgomery, New York, to meet with horse farm owner Mary Lu Dolce Conti. Since moving onto her property, Mary Lu has been experiencing unexplained paranormal activity centered around her animals.

Next, John's team heads to Niagara Falls to look into reported paranormal phenomena at the historic Echo Club. Owner Deborah Sirianni is trying to restore the old Polish social club to its glory, but strange and frightful incidents have left staff and guests terrified.

Season 2 of Haunted Collector averaged 625,000 Adults 18-49, 780,000 Adults 25-54, and 1.35 million total viewers, growing 2 percent /13 percent / 5 percent, respectively, from its first season.

The new unscripted series Stranded - a paranormal and psychological experiment from the producer of the movie franchise Paranormal Activity - will air Wednesdays at 10PM immediately following Haunted Collector.

Haunted Collector is produced by Gurney Productions. Executive producers are Scott Gurney and Dierdre Gurney.
