DISCOVERY CHANNEL'S "MOONSHINERS" VALENTINE'S DAY SPECIAL "TICKLE'S GUIDE TO LOVE"
TICKLE'S GUIDE TO LOVE Airs February 14 at 10PM ET/PT
It's February in Appalachia and moonshining is on hold until spring, which means one thing for Tickle and Jim Tom of MOONSHINERS . . . it's the season for love! These two know a lot more than just making moonshine. In honor of Valentine's Day, the annual holiday celebrating both love and romance, Tickle and life-long moonshiner Jim Tom will share some of the knowledge gleaned from decades of both success and failure in matters of amore in TICKLE'S GUIDE TO LOVE on Thursday, Feb. 14 at 10PM ET/PT.
From tips on meeting women to pointers on what to do on a Valentine's Day date, Tickle and Jim Tom cover all the bases in TICKLE'S GUIDE TO LOVE. And when Tickle is not giving love advice, he'll be rolling the dice on a risky bootleg run with moonshine associate Tim.
At the end of the first season of MOONSHINERS, Tim lost the investors he was counting on to stake his dream to open a legitimate distillery. When a mysterious character called "The Big Man" offered a quick payout for hauling a batch of his own moonshine, the desperate moonshining duo sees no choice but to accept a job as bootleggers. Tim and Tickle study every nook, cranny and hot spot of a 100-mile route that runs along highways and forgotten back roads, leading them across the state line. Law enforcement officers could be waiting around any corner, but Tim has a wild card up his sleeve: a retired police car that the duo will outfit with secret compartments. The stakes are high, but doing the run is the only way for Tim and Tickle to keep their dreams for a better life alive.
TICKLE'S GUIDE TO LOVE features brand new love advice segments from Tickle and Jim Tom, while taking a look back at a favorite episode of MOONSHINERS featuring the moonshining team of Tim and Tickle.
TICKLE'S GUIDE TO LOVE and MOONSHINERS are produced for Discovery Channel by Magilla Entertainment, where Matthew Ostrom, Brian Flanagan and Laura Johnson are executive producers. Dolores Gavin and Joe Schneier are executive producers for Discovery Channel.
