Eonline (www.eonline.com) To Feature "Fash Fabness" Themed Photo Galleries
Los Angeles, CA - March 7, 2013- Sports madness is everywhere this March, but nowhere is it more prevalent than on Friday night's favorite fashion forum. E!'s "Fashion Police" will salute the fashion-conscious men and women of professional sports with a month-long celebration called "Fash Fabness." From the basketball court, to the soccer field, to the golf course and beyond, professional athletes are more than team members these days; they are trend-setting fashionistos in their own right who are designing their own clothing lines, showing up on red carpets everywhere and looking good doing it. Throughout the month, our "Fashion Police" panel is scheduled to be visited by a wide range of sports-related celebrities, ranging from Georgina Bloomberg (equestrian and Mayor Bloomberg's daughter) to NASCAR great Jeff Gordon to boxing talent Laila Ali and Super Bowl champion Baltimore Raven Dennis Pitta. E! celebrates sporty style mavens with "Fashion Police's" March "Fash Fabness" episodes premiering Friday, March 8 at 10:00 PM ET/PT and continuing through Friday, March 29.
Those sleek and stylish athletes whose performances in the arena have made them world-class celebrities have not escaped the discerning eyes of Joan Rivers and her "Fashion Police" posse, Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic and George Kotsiopoulos. Over the course of four Fridays in March, our panel of fashion gurus will count down the 16 most fashionable athletes of the year, analyzing their style closely to explain exactly why they made the cut, and then finally revealing the most fashion-forward athlete on March 29. Plus throughout the month, a diverse variety of famous sports faces will appear to bring their own unique opinions to the show, and reveal a bit about their own fashion hits and misses.
Eonline (www.eonline.com) joins in on the action with themed photo galleries throughout the month including "Flagrant Fashion Fouls," "Top Steals: Gallery Of The Best 'B*tch Stole My Look'" and "Crossovers," featuring more of those sports stars who have truly crossed-over to become fashion icons in their own right.
Just as pop culture continues to evolve and the world of celebrity expands to include notables from all fields, so "Fashion Police" continues to salute and challenge fashion wherever it appears. While others might be tuning in to a basketball game or two this month, style devotees who enjoy the funniest fashion forum on television will not want to miss all the "hoop"-la when "Fashion Police" airs four-weeks of "Fash Fabness" beginning Friday, March 8 at 10:00pm ET/PT only on E!
