"The Biggest Loser" Winner Gains $250,000 at Last Night's Live Season 14 Finale on NBC

Pharmaceutical Representative Jeff Nichols of Monroe, Michigan Named Runner Up, and Gina McDonald, a 47-Year-Old Attorney and Law Firm Owner from Hoover, Alabama, Wins "At Home" Prize of $100,000 Among Eliminated Contestants

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - March 19, 2013 - Danni Allen, a 26-year-old advertising account coordinator from Wheeling, Illinois, became "The Biggest Loser" at last night's live season 14 finale of the NBC series, winning $250,000. Danni began the season weighing 258 lbs. and lost 121 lbs. She weighed in at finale at 137 lbs. and lost 46.90% of her body weight. Danni was the last remaining contestant on trainer Jillian Michaels' white team.

The runner up among the three finalists was 25-year-old pharmaceutical representative Jeff Nichols, who began the show weighing 388 lbs. and ended at 207 lbs. He lost 181 lbs. and 46.65% of his body weight. America voted between Joe Ostaszewski (Williston, Florida) and Jackson Carter (Layton, Utah) to determine who would be the third finalist, and Jackson Carter won and came in third place. Jackson, 22, is the show's first openly gay contestant and works as a volunteer coordinator for an LGBT resource center and movie theater assistant manager. He started the sow at 328 lbs. and ended at 190 lbs., losing 138 lbs. and 42.07% of his body weight.

The winner of this season's $100,000 "at home" prize among eliminated contestants went to 47-year-old Gina McDonald, an attorney and law firm owner from Hoover, Alabama. She began the show at 245 lbs. and ended at 132 lbs., losing 113 lbs. and 46.12% of her body weight.

"The Biggest Loser: Challenge America" finale is a production of Shine America, 25/7 Productions and 3 Ball Productions. Ben Silverman, Dave Broome, Lisa Hennessy, Eden Gaha, JD Roth and Todd A. Nelson are the executive producers. David Friedman was also an executive producer for the live finale.
