CRACKLE UNVEILS SLATE OF 2013 ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING AT DIGITAL CONTENT NEWFRONTS IN NEW YORK

Second Seasons of Three Popular Original Series and Two Digital Movies Among Exciting Line-Up

New Season of Jerry Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" to Feature Chris Rock, Sarah Silverman, David Letterman, Don Rickles and More

New York, NY (May 3, 2013) - Crackle, the multi-platform entertainment network and 2013 Webby People's Voice winner for Best Entertainment Channel, announced an exciting line-up of new original programming this morning at the Digital Content NewFronts in New York City. The 2013 slate, which includes eight green-lit original programs, will feature second seasons of three popular series, including "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" with Jerry Seinfeld, and Crackle's first foray into feature-length digital movies with the martial arts actioner, EXTRACTION and the sequel to JOE DIRT. David Arquette (SCREAM, NEVER BEEN KISSED) and Missi Pyle (THE ARTIST, BIG FISH) were on-hand to promote their new Crackle original series "Cleaners," alongside Jon Foo (TEKKEN) for his role in EXTRACTION. Brian Terkelsen, CEO, MediaVest, USA, was also on-hand to share his thoughts on original content.

Remarkable for a digital network, Crackle is proud to renew three popular series for second seasons including Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" with special guests including Sarah Silverman and Chris Rock, the critically-acclaimed "Chosen," and the award-winning 2010 series "The Bannen Way." Crackle also announced its two first digital movies, EXTRACTION, starring Emmy(R)-nominated screen legend Danny Glover (LETHAL WEAPON, THE COLOR PURPLE) and the long-awaited sequel to the cult favorite David Spade comedy JOE DIRT. Rounding out the solid line-up includes a new music series with a philanthropic twist with the working title "Play It Forward" whose producers include Robert Downey Jr. (IRON MAN 3), and "Cleaners," a series following two gorgeous crime fighters starring Arquette and Emmanuelle Chriqui ("Entourage," YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN).

EXTRACTION

The first major feature made for digital, EXTRACTION follows a US Black Ops team member who finds himself the only survivor of a botched prisoner extraction mission and must not only find a way to fight his way out of a maximum security prison in Russia - but must do so with the prisoner alive - in order to catch a terrorist arms-dealer who is a threat to thousands of lives. Two gorgeous young women out on an errand for their boss turn out to be a team of highly trained and lethal contract killers. The job goes bad when they find a sedated 8-yr-old boy in the trunk of their car and quickly find themselves the target of their boss' client, the FBI - and even their own boss whose team of assassins is now out to eliminate them to get the valuable boy back. Starring Emmanuelle Chriqui ("Entourage," YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN), Emily Osment ("Hannah Montana"), Gina Gershon (FACE/OFF), David Arquette (SCREAM, NEVER BEEN KISSED), Missi Pyle (THE ARTIST, BIG FISH), Nathan Keyes (THE KINGS OF SUMMER) and Clifton Collins Jr. (STAR TREK), among others, the series is written and directed by Paul Leyden (THE FACTORY) and produced by Full Clip Productions and Sam Worthington. Spade will also star in the sequel, which will pick-up where the film left off, following the comedic misadventures of the mullet-clad, lovable redneck, "Joe Dirt." The project will be written and executive produced by Spade and Fred Wolf and directed by Wolf.
