SPOILS OF BABYLON, THE (IFC/Gary Sanchez; W: Andrew Steele & Matt Piedmont; D: Matt Piedmont) - Haley Joel Osment is set to star alongside Will Ferrell, Tobey Maguire and Kristen Wiig in the six-episode comedy, about the sexy and dramatic lives of a family who made their fortune in the oil business. He'll play Winston, the devilish son of Wiig's Cynthia, who "raised her son to worship at the altar of reckless ambition, and now he begins to insert himself in the family business." (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - TLC has renewed "Welcome to Myrtle Manor" for a 10-episode second season, although it's unclear which cast members will return (EW.com); Steven S. DeKnight's "Incursion" has completed enough scripts for a potential series order at Starz (Deadline.com); Sunil Nayar has inked a new two-year overall deal with ABC Studios where he'll succeed Mike Kelley as showrunner of "Revenge" (Deadline.com); and actor Billy Crystal, writer Matt Nix and director Larry Charles are set to make the rounds with an edgy comedy based on a European format (Deadline.com).
