ADAM LEVINE, JORDAN FELDSTEIN SIGN DEVELOPMENT DEAL WITH NBC FOR SCRIPTED AND ALTERNATIVE PROGRAMMING

'The Voice' Coach and Maroon 5 Leader Will Team With Producing Partner to Create New Series and Specials for the Network

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - May 8, 2013 - "The Voice" coach Adam Levine and producing partner Jordan Feldstein have signed an exclusive one-year first-look development deal with NBC Entertainment.

The deal, announced by Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming for NBC Entertainment, calls for Levine and Feldstein to develop both scripted and alternative programming for the network.

"It would be impossible to quantify Adam's influence and importance to the success of 'The Voice,'" said Telegdy. "Given those enormous contributions, we're very anxious to work with him and Jordan to see what future shows they develop that can find a home here at NBC."

Levine is now in his fourth season as a coach for NBC's musical competition series "The Voice." He is also the lead singer for supergroup Maroon 5, which has sold more than 17 million albums. The group's third single, "Daylight," from its "Overexposed" album, recently claimed the #1 spot on both Top 40 and Hot AC radio charts. In the process, the band set a record for the most #1's (six in total) by a group in the Top 40 chart's 20-year history.

Feldstein is CEO of Los Angeles-based Career Artist Management and has managed Maroon 5 from their formation more than 10 years ago. He also oversees the careers of multiplatinum acts Alanis Morissette, Sara Bareilles and Robin Thicke.

Maroon 5 will headline this year's Honda Civic Tour alongside special guest Kelly Clarkson. The tour serves as an exciting intersection of the automotive and music worlds and will kick off in St. Louis on Aug. 1 and continue through early October.

The band's releases have gone gold and platinum in over 35 countries. In 2010, Maroon 5 released their third studio album, "Hands All Over," which was certified platinum. The collection featured two hit singles: "Misery" and "Moves Like Jagger," which climbed to the #1 spot on the Top 40 and Hot AC charts, as well as claimed the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. "Moves Like Jagger" was also one of the bestselling singles of 2011, with sales of 8.5 million copies worldwide.

In addition to "The Voice," Levine has also appeared on "Saturday Night Live" as well as co-starring in the FX miniseries "American Horror Story: Asylum."
