NOONE (FOX, New!) - Jason Horwitch ("Rubicon") has booked a "crime drama procedural with a romantic twist" at the network, about "a female police detective and her unlikely ally" in San Francisco. Hart Hanson ("Bones") is also on board as an executive producer on the hour, which is set up at 20th Century Fox Television. (Deadline.com)
WAYWARD PINES (FOX/FX Productions; W: Chad Hodge; D: M. Night Shyamalan) - Juliette Lewis ("The Firm") is the latest addition to the upcoming drama, about a Secret Service Agent (Matt Dillon) who finds himself stranded in the seemingly bucolic town of Wayward Pines, Idaho while looking for two missing federal agents. She'll play Beverly, "a warm and approachable small-town bartender who doesn't mince words." The show's ensemble also includes Carla Gugino, Greta Lee, Melissa Leo, Shannyn Sossamon, Terrence Howard and Toby Jones. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Rebecca Mader will guest on "Drop Dead Diva" as "a smart, confident dominatrix who hires Grayson to represent her when a client refuses to pay her for services rendered" (TVLine.com); and Fox Television Studios is in discussions with NBC about coming on board to produce the network's Diane Lane-led mini-series "Hillary" (Deadline.com).
