WE tv WELCOMES "WILL & GRACE" TO ITS LINEUP

THE EMMY(R) AWARD-WINNING SERIES CELEBRATES ITS 15TH ANNIVERSARY WITH AN ALL-DAY MARATHON ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2013; THE ICONIC COMEDY WILL AIR WEEKDAYS FROM 5PM-8PM AND ALL NIGHT TUESDAYS

[New York] Sept. 5, 2013 - "Will and Grace," the 16-time Emmy(R) Award-winning comedy will make its debut on WE tv, enjoying a robust run on the network beginning September 22, just in time for the series' 15th Anniversary.

WE tv will launch the modern classic sitcom on Sunday, September 22 with an all-day marathon (2pm-5am ET/PT) of "Will and Grace," and will air weekdays from 5pm to 8pm ET/PT and all night on Tuesdays beginning at 8pm ET/PT.

"Will & Grace," which originally launched in September of 1998 on NBC, broke new ground for LGBT characters on television by shaking up the cultural conversation, eventually becoming the most successful television series with gay principal characters and a must-see comedy for millions of viewers.

Over the course of the series' original run, "Will and Grace" was nominated for 83 Emmys, winning 16, including for Best Comedy Series and Outstanding acting Emmys for all four leads: Eric McCormack for his portrayal of Will Truman, an uptight, gay lawyer; Debra Messing as Grace Adler, an interior decorator with a healthy obsession for food; Megan Mullally as Karen Walker, a rich, socialite who works as Grace's clueless assistant; and Sean Hayes as Jack McFarland, a flamboyant and flighty side-kick to Will and Karen.

The series also featured some very notable recurring stars, including Blythe Danner as Will's mother, Sydney Pollock as Will's father, Harry Connick, Jr. as Grace's boyfriend and eventual husband, Bobby Cannavale as Will's first long-term boyfriend, Molly Shannon as Will & Grace's neighbor, and many more, as well as special guest stars, including Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Cher, Kevin Bacon, Matt Damon, Demi Moore, Ellen DeGeneres, Britney Spears, among many others.
