THE SECRETS TO HAVING POSH PERSONAL STYLE ARE JUST A CLOSET AWAY WITH LIFETIME'S NEW UNSCRIPTED SERIES "MILLION DOLLAR SHOPPERS," PREMIERING OCTOBER 10

Personal Shoppers BARBET SMITH, GREGG ASHER & TAYLER SANDVICK, AMY SALINGER and DEREK ROCHE Go to Great Extremes to Meet High Demands of Wealthy and Powerful Clientele

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 12, 2013) - Enter the never-before-seen and elite world of personal shopping, where there are no limits to what one will do to find the perfect wardrobe for their rich, famous, powerful and often high-maintenance clients. Lifetime's all-new series Million Dollar Shoppers features these fashion tastemakers and trendsetters going to great extremes to deliver the best pieces to their glamorous clients while delivering an in-home shopping experience known only by a select few. Million Dollar Shoppers will premiere on Thursday, October 10, at 10:30pm ET/PT, immediately following Project Runway, before moving to its regular time slot at 10:00pm on October 24.

Providing a revealing look into the exclusive world of the affluent, each episode of Million Dollar Shoppers will feature three personal shoppers who make their living on the hunt for the most coveted fashion splurges for their wealthy clients. With their pride, reputation and, ultimately, final commission on the line, the shoppers take close inventory of their clients' jaw-dropping closets and homes before consulting with them about their fashion needs, ranging from a specific event, upcoming vacation or an entire wardrobe makeover. Empowered with the customers' credit cards in hand, they execute their savvy, retail sense and fashion connections to purchase what they believe fulfills their tough clients' vision of having the finest luxuries available... first. Will they complete their missions? That will remain to be seen until the clients meticulously review all purchases before approving each and every expense. Each week, viewers will follow the colorful, driven shoppers to see who rakes in the most commission and the ultimate bragging rights.

MEET THE SHOPPERS

Barbet Smith (48) is a hockey mom of four and a personal shopper. Raised in Westchester County, New York, Barbet has impeccable taste but is unaffected by the exorbitant wealth of her clients. Outgoing and friendly, she is most interested in making someone feel amazing about themselves instead of making money for herself.

Gregg Asher (37) & Tayler Sandvick (31) met at the Christian Dior grand opening party. The two instantly clicked and, together, use their fierce fashion sense and outgoing personalities to take the fashion scene by storm for clients who live in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas. People often think they are siblings because they fight like brother and sister, but with Sandvick's couture background and Asher's crazy eccentric style, the two complement each other perfectly.

Amy Salinger (34) calls herself "The Garment Whisperer" because she has a 90% purchase rate on the clothes she chooses for her clients. She began her career at doing behind-the-scenes makeovers for The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Derek Roche (30) landed his first styling internship for Sex and the City stylist Patricia Field while he was still in college. He went on to work at Vibe magazine, Ralph Lauren and Condé Nast. In a strange turn of events involving interviews and wardrobe tests, Roche was offered a job as Sean Combs "Diddy" full time personal stylist. His current celebrity client roster is deep and includes Nicki Minaj, Ne-Yo, Kobe Bryant and Jason Derulo.

Million Dollar Shoppers is produced by True Entertainment and The Weinstein Company. Executive producers are Harvey Weinstein and Bob Weinstein (Co-Chairmen of The Weinstein Company) and Meryl Poster of The Weinstein Company with Patrick Reardon as Co-Executive Producer, and from True Entertainment, Glenda Hersh (The Real Housewives of Atlanta) Steven Weinstock (The Real Housewives of Atlanta), David Stefanou (Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes), Colleen Sands (Project Runway and After the Runway) and Noah Samton (Princesses: Long Island, The Fashion Show), along with Lifetime's Rob Sharenow, Gena McCarthy and David Hillman.
