A&E KICKS OFF TWITTER AMPLIFY PARTNERSHIP WITH EXCLUSIVE CONTENT FROM "DUCK DYNASTY" CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

NEW YORK, NY - DECEMBER 10, 2013 - Following the recent partnership announcement with Twitter Amplify, A&E kicks off the collaboration during the 'Duck Dynasty' Christmas Special on Wednesday, December 11th - with exclusive content across social media platforms. Twitter Amplify is a cross-platform tool which allows Twitter users to enjoy exclusive photos and videos, brought to fans by brands.

A&E's social media surrounding this show will feature a holiday-themed social response lab where fans will be asked to tweet #NAUGHTY or #NICE for a chance to get their profile picture incorporated into a customized Christmas graphic or .Gif. Custom holiday themed content and animated .gifs will roll out on Twitter and Tumblr from the episode based on funny moments from the show. Facebook and Instagram will also roll out quote cards and memes in real time. Additionally, there will be a Retweet to Win sweeps on the "Duck Dynasty" Twitter account where fans will be asked to retweet a specific tweet with tune-in information for a chance to win a "Duck Dynasty" prize pack. Moreover, the popular virtual on-air game "Si Says" will return -when fans see Uncle Si holding a #HEY sign, they'll be asked to tweet #SANTA for a chance to win a "Duck Dynasty" prize pack.

This year's Christmas Special features the Robertson's rehearsing for a live nativity for their Church for Christmas, which gets off to a bumpy start. Also, Jep advises Willie and Jase on what to get their wives for Christmas.
