CBS RINGS IN 2014 WITH ALL-NEW EPISODES OF ITS HIT COMEDIES AND DRAMAS, BEGINNING THURSDAY, JAN. 2

CBS will ring in the new year with all-new episodes of its hit comedies and dramas, beginning Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014. Following is information on the first original episodes of all of the Network's series, including the two-hour season finale of HOSTAGES (Jan. 6), and the special series premiere of INTELLIGENCE (Jan. 7):

THURSDAY, JAN. 2

THE BIG BANG THEORY (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) "The Hesitation Ramification" - Penny puts Leonard on the spot with a bold relationship question.

THE MILLERS (8:31-9:01 PM, ET/PT) "Dear Diary" - When Debbie suspects Nathan and Carol of secretly reading her diary, she and Adam plant a fake entry about Tom in order to prove it. Ernie Hudson guest stars as Tom's new friend.

THE CRAZY ONES (9:01-9:31 PM, ET/PT) "The Face of a Winner" - When Simon mixes up the assignments in the office, he puts Sydney on an account for a video game that she becomes addicted to winning.

TWO AND A HALF MEN (9:31-10:01 PM, ET/PT) "Tazed in the Lady Nuts" - Walden joins his beautiful former employee on a brilliant new project. Meanwhile, Alan advises Jenny to open up to her girlfriend or risk losing her. Odette Annable guest stars as Walden's former employee, Nicole, and Aly Michalka returns as Jenny's girlfriend, Brooke.

ELEMENTARY (10:01-11:00 PM, ET/PT) "The Diabolical Kind" - Holmes and Watson come face-to-face with Moriarty when their one-time adversary is brought in as a consultant on a kidnapping case. Natalie Dormer returns as Moriarty.

SUNDAY, JAN. 5

THE GOOD WIFE (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) "Goliath and David" - Alicia represents a band suing a TV show for copyright infringement, but the simple case becomes psychological warfare when Will joins the opposing council and uses his knowledge of Alicia's strengths and weaknesses against her.

THE MENTALIST (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) "White Lines" - The FBI is tasked with finding the killer of several DEA agents. Also, Patrick Jane goes on a date with a beautiful woman associated with the case.

MONDAY, JAN. 6

HOSTAGES (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) SEASON FINALE "Suspicious Minds" and "Endgame"- Duncan discovers Sandrine's betrayal and decides to use it to his advantage to save his wife and daughter. Also, Ellen goes into surgery to operate on the President of the United States, on the two-hour season finale.

TUESDAY, JAN. 7

NCIS (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) "Kill Chain" - When a stolen drone is linked to the elusive terrorist Parsa, the NCIS team partners with the Department of Defense, including Gibb's former girlfriend, Hollis Mann, to track down the device before it is used for a large scale attack.

INTELLIGENCE (9:00-10:01 PM, ET/PT) SERIES PREMIERE "Pilot" - Josh Holloway, Meghan Ory and Marg Helgenberger star in the special series premiere of the new action thriller.

PERSON OF INTEREST (10:01-11:00 PM, ET/PT) "Aletheia" - In the concluding chapter to the shocking winter cliffhanger, multiple enemies converge on the POI team as they protect a dying man whose number has come up. They struggle to keep their enemies at bay but without Reese, who has left them and their mission behind following the tragic war with HR, being down one man could have catastrophic repercussions for the team.

FRIDAY, JAN. 10

UNDERCOVER BOSS (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) "Mohegan Sun" - Bruce "Two Dogs" Bozsum, Chairman of Mohegan Sun, goes undercover in the gaming, hotel and entertainment destinations as he prepares to pass the business onto the next Chairman of his Native American Tribal Council.

HAWAII FIVE-0 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) "O kela me keia manawa" - McGarrett helps Grover investigate his friend's disappearance after he apparently commits murder. Meanwhile, Kono continues her search for Adam.

BLUE BLOODS (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) "The Bogeyman" - Danny is on a hunt for the distributor of a new deadly drug that is hitting the streets.

MONDAY, JAN. 13

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) Slapsgiving #3: Slappointment" - In an attempt to deliver a devastating final slap to Barney, Marshall explains how he mastered the Slap of A Million Exploding Suns.

2 BROKE GIRLS (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) "And The Big But" - Max finds herself wanting to be more than just friends with her pastry school partner, Deke. Meanwhile, Caroline's still "hot for teacher" - the still-married Chef Nicholas. Gilles Marini guest stars.

MIKE & MOLLY (9:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) "What Molly Hath Wrought" - Molly hates her draft of the novel she's working on and decides to take a break. Now she needs to decide on something else to occupy her time.

MOM (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) "Hot Soup and Shingles" - Christy gets injured and refuses to admit she needs Bonnie's help. Also, Luke turns to Baxter for advice about being a father.

TUESDAY, JAN. 14

NCIS: LOS ANGELES (9:00-10:01 PM, ET/PT) "Allegiance" - The murder of a federal agent in Los Angeles tied to Hawala, an ancient system of money transfer, reunites Kensi and Granger from Afghanistan with the LA team to stop a possible terrorist attack.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 15

CRIMINAL MINDS (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) "The Black Queen" - A murder investigation in San Diego has Garcia delve into her hacker past and reconnect with her former love to help the BAU with the case. Paolo Costanzo guest stars as Garcias's ex-boyfriend.

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) "Keep Calm and Carry-on" - An inbound plane's passengers become the victims of an onboard thief, but when one of the passengers is found dead, the petty crime turns into a murder investigation. Joel Grey guest stars as a disgruntled airplane passenger.
