MTV2 ANNOUNCES 2014 PROGRAMMING SLATE WITH NEW SERIES "JOBS THAT DON'T SUCK" PREMIERING IN APRIL FOLLOWING THE RETURN OF "GUY CODE"

MTV2's Highest-Rated Series Ever, "Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out," Set to Return with an All-New Season in Summer 2014

Season Premiere of "Charlamagne and Friends" on January 15 to Guest Star Ice Cube, Kevin Hart and Tika Sumpter

Pasadena, CA (January 10, 2014) - MTV2, fresh off its highest-rated calendar year ever, today announced its 2014 programming slate, which is packed with exciting new shows and several of its highest-rated series of all-time. All new series "Jobs That Don't Suck," hosted by network standout and stand-up comedian Andrew Schulz, is set to premiere in April 2014, following the season four premiere of MTV2 fan favorite "Guy Code." "Jobs That Don't Suck" is a half-hour comedy series in which Schulz hilariously guides viewers through the innovative ways that young Americans are getting rich by doing what they love. Each week, Schulz will be joined by restaurant mogul Eddie Huang, a New York Times best seller and host of Vice's "Fresh Off The Boat," in addition to Nessa, star of MTV's "Girl Code," as the three break down how to find your dream job.

Also premiering in April is MTV2's new weekly series with Major League Baseball (MLB) that will be shot in New York City from the MLB Fan Cave, showcasing MLB athletes off the field through a series of player interviews and features. Additionally, MTV2's highest rated series ever, "Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out," will return to the network with all new episodes premiering in summer 2014. Previously announced new seasons for "Ain't That America with Lil Duval" and "Charlamagne and Friends" will launch MTV2's landmark year of new programming on January 15 starting at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT. The two series will start the network's new Wednesday night programming destination, "WTW" (What the Wednesdays?), with special guests. Film stars Ice Cube, Kevin Hart and Tika Sumpter of the upcoming comedy "Ride Along" will guest on the season premiere of MTV2's "Charlamagne and Friends" at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT. The new season of "Ain't That America with Lil Duval" will feature its own headlining guest stars, including J.R. Smith of the New York Knicks, The World Champion Judah Friedlander, rapper WakaFlocka Flame and model Rosa Acosta.

Fueled by its record-breaking original programming, MTV2 recorded its most-watched and highest-rated calendar year ever in 2013, in addition to its most-watched fiscal year ever (October 2012 through September 2013) among the network's core demographic of P12-34. In the last two years, the network has scored five of its six highest-rated original shows of all time with "Ain't That America with Lil Duval," "Guy Code," "Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family," "Hip Hop Squares" and "Nitro Circus Live."

The 2014 programming slate for MTV2 includes:

"Ain't That America with Lil Duval" (premieres January 15 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT): In MTV2's highest-rated original series of all-time, comedian Lil Duval and a panel of his funniest friends explore America's biggest cultural traditions from camping and Christmas to parenting and pets through the most outrageous viral videos spanning across every social and geographic group in the country. The first season of "Ain't That America with Lil Duval" ranked as the No. 1 original cable series in its time slot among P12-34.

"Charlamagne and Friends" (premieres January 15 at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT): The series is hosted by "Guy Code" and "Guy Court" star Charlamagne tha God, who will be joined by a variety of friends, including artists, athletes and comedians, as they give their unfiltered opinions on the biggest music and pop culture stories. In the season premiere, Charlamagne will interview Ice Cube, Kevin Hart and Tika Sumpter of "Ride Along."

"Guy Code" (premieres April 2014): "Guy Code" is the ultimate guy's guide to the laws of manhood, creating the ultimate playbook for all guys to follow. In the fourth season of "Guy Code," the show will return its favorite cast members from the previous three seasons, as they revisit key topics with updated tips, insights and intelligence.

"Jobs That Don't Suck" (premieres April 2014): MTV2's brand new, half-hour comedy series is designed to help you find your dream job, by revealing how people - just like you - found theirs. Each week Andrew Schulz, Eddie Huang and Nessa hilariously guide viewers through the innovative ways that young Americans are getting rich by doing what they love. Viewers will meet millionaires, entrepreneurs, inventors, app developers, YouTube sensations, CEOs and even a few teenagers who have killer jobs, as they all reveal the secrets to their success.

Untitled Major League Baseball Series (premieres April 2014): This new series will launch a multi-year programming partnership between MTV and the MLB, with the weekly show moving beyond game analysis, stats and highlights to showcase MLB athletes off the field, spotlighting the stars' personalities and passions through a series of player interviews and features, in addition to celebrity appearances. The series will be shot in New York City from inside the MLB Fan Cave, MLB's first-of-its-kind space that mixes baseball with music, pop culture, media, interactive technology and art.

"Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out" (premieres summer 2014): "Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out" mixes lightning fast comedic improv, head-to head competition and cutting edge entertainment that's more rap battle than comedic stage. The most recent season featured appearances from today's hottest celebrities, including Mariah Carey and Kevin Hart, as well as musical performances from Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky, Macklemore, MGK and more.

MTV2 targets young men with smart, funny and relevant content, including comedic, music and action-oriented original programming. For more information on the network, visit MTV2.com or MTVPress.com.
