Laura Fleury to Vice President, Programming & Development, LMN

NEW YORK, January 15, 2014 - Jana Bennett, President of FYI and LMN, today announced the appointment of two key executives within the A+E Networks portfolio. Thomas Moody has been tapped as Senior Vice President, Programming, Planning & Acquisitions, FYI and LMN; and Laura Fleury has been elevated to Vice President, Programming & Development, LMN. The new positions are effective immediately.

Bennett said, "I am confident that these multi-talented executives, tapped from within A+E Networks, will bring a breadth of experience and enormous intelligence to these important new leadership roles at FYI and LMN. Both Tom and Laura bring a track record of significant accomplishment to the table. Their vision, instincts and passion will be instrumental as we build these two brands into powerful platforms."

Moody, who has been with A+E Networks since 2001, has come on-board as Senior Vice President, Programming, Planning & Acquisitions to oversee program planning, strategy and acquisitions for both FYI and LMN. He was previously responsible for developing and implementing the scheduling and acquisition strategies for A&E and BIO. In addition, Moody has also developed and/or served as an Executive Producer on A+E Networks shows such as "Hoarders," "Private Sessions," "Biography," "Celebrity Ghost Stories," and more. Moody will report to Bennett in his new role at FYI and LMN.

Prior to joining A+E Networks, Bennett was President, BBC Worldwide Networks & global BBC iPlayer at BBC Worldwide.
