CONSTANTINE (NBC/Warner Bros.; W: Daniel Cerone & David S. Goyer; D: Neil Marshall) - Neil Marshall ("Black Sails") has signed on to helm the drama pilot, about an enigmatic and irreverent con man-turned-reluctant supernatural detective who is thrust into the role of defending us against dark forces from beyond. He'll work from a script by Daniel Cerone and David S. Goyer, which in turn is based on the DC Comics hero of the same name. (Deadline.com)

DAMAGED GOODS (ABC/Warner Bros.; W: Lauren Iungerich; D: TBA) - Lauren Iungerich's single-camera comedy - about "the sexual politics that have changed between men and women in this post-feminist era" - has landed a pilot order from the Alphabet. Said half-hour is set up at Warner Bros. Television, with Iungerich executive producing. (Deadline.com)

GALAVANT (ABC/ABC Studios; W: Dan Fogelman; D: TBA) - Timothy Omundson ("Psych") is the latest addition to the single-camera comedy, a fairy tale about handsome Prince Galavant (Joshua Sasse) and his quest for revenge over the King who stole his one true love, Madalena (Mallory Jansen). He'll play said king, Richard, in the project, which also stars Karen David, Luke Youngblood and Vinnie Jones. Production is slated to begin shortly in London. (Deadline.com)

LOOKAWAY, LOOKAWAY (HBO, New!) - Wilton Barnhardt's novel - billed as "a scathing comic window into the dysfunction of the American family, as Old South traditions clash with 21st Century realities of sex, race, religion and class" - is being developed as a comedy at the pay channel. Sue Naegle and 3 Arts Entertainment's David Miner are executive producing the project, with a search underway for a writer. Barnhardt himself will also serve as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)

THE MISTAKE (A.K.A. UNTITLED GOLDBERG-MEEHAN, MANDEL & SILVERI PROJECT) (CBS/Warner Bros.; W: David Mandel, Scott Silveri & Shana Goldberg-Meehan; D: Andy Ackerman) - The multi-camera comedy - from writers David Mandel, Scott Silveri and Shana Goldberg-Meehan as well as director Andy Ackerman - is heading to pilot at the Eye. The Warner Bros. Television-based half-hour revolves around "a couple who had just finished raising their kids when they discover they are pregnant." All of the aforementioned auspices will executive produce via their respective companies, Woltz International Pictures and Silver and Gold Productions. (Deadline.com)

RED ZONE (A.K.A. UNTITLED NIKKI TOSCANO PROJECT) (CBS/CTS/Universal; W: Nikki Toscano; D: TBA) - Nikki Toscano's drama - about "a retired CIA operative who, when a terrorist event rocks Washington, D.C., is pulled back into action, forced to investigate closer to home where the next generation of terrorists are being bred" - has scored a pilot order from the Eye. In addition, CBS Television Studios has come aboard to co-produce the hour alongside Universal Television with Kerry Ehrin presumably executive producing alongside Toscano. (Deadline.com)

SECRETS & LIES (ABC/ABC Studios; W: Barbie Kligman; D: Charles McDougall) - Charles McDougall ("Resurrection") has been tapped to direct the drama pilot, about a family man who finds the body of a young boy and quickly becomes the prime murder suspect. Said effort is based on the upcoming Australian crime series of the same name. Barbie Kligman is spearheading the U.S. take. (Deadline.com)

SELFIE (ABC/Warner Bros.; W: Emily Kapnek; D: TBA) - Emily Kapnek has likewise scored a pilot order for her single-camera comedy, about a self-obsessed 20-something woman who enlists the help of a marketing expert at her company to help repair her tarnished image after she becomes the subject of a viral video. Warner Bros. Television is behind the half-hour, the studio where Kapnek's Piece of Pie Productions is under an overall deal. (Deadline.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - MTV has issued a 12-episode order to its Kathryn Prescott-led drama "Finding Carter," from writer Emily Silver and fellow executive producer Terri Minsky (Deadline.com); Toni Trucks has joined the cast of "Franklin & Bash" as Anita Herrera, "the new recruit Attorney for the Franklin & Bash offices, a tough, smart and attractive Georgetown lawyer with a great sense of humor who can hold her own with the big boys" (Deadline.com); Jocko Sims has been upped to series regular on TNT's new drama "The Last Ship" as Dalton Burk, "a charismatic, fit and tough Navy lieutenant in charge of Tac Group One" (Deadline.com); Rob Schneider is self-financing and starring in "Real Rob," an eight-episode independently produced comedy series (Deadline.com);
