"LIVE WITH KELLY AND MICHAEL" ANNOUNCES LIZ NORDEN OF STONEHAM, MASSACHUSETTS AS THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER OF THE 2014 EDITION OF "LIVE'S SEARCH FOR UNSTOPPABLE MOMS"

Norden Will Take Home the Grand Prize of $100,000

NEW YORK, NY - March 14, 2014 - On today's "LIVE with Kelly and Michael," co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan announced that Liz Norden of Stoneham, Mass. is the winner of the second annual "LIVE's Search for Unstoppable Moms" and will take home the grand prize of $100,000.

Norden was nominated for the honor by her daughter Caitlin, who describes her as "a super woman without a cape." In her letter, Caitlin shared the years when Norden raised her five kids as a single mom, her heroic struggle and recovery from cervical cancer, and more recently, her selfless devotion to the care of two of her sons, both badly injured in the devastating Boston Marathon bombing. Caitlin noted "My mom has never put herself before us and is the most selfless person you could ever be lucky enough to meet. My mom is my best friend, our family rock, and I don't think there is anyone more deserving than her!"

"LIVE," in partnership with the Children's MOTRIN(R) brand, was looking for mothers who go above and beyond the call of duty for their families and others, and deserve to be celebrated for being the extraordinary women that they are. The call for entries went out in January, and producers received nearly 20,000 submissions from across the U.S. and Canada. After narrowing the field to 15 semi-finalists, four finalists were selected. The four moms were honored on the show this week, and after an online vote by "LIVE's" viewers, Norden was announced today as the 2014 winner.

"Children's MOTRIN(R) is so inspired by all the 'Unstoppable Moms' who were part of this year's search," said Michelle Goodridge, Vice President of Marketing for McNeil Consumer Healthcare. "It is evident via the abundance of submissions that there are so many moms like Liz Norden across the country who go above and beyond for their families and we are privileged to help celebrate their stories."

In addition to the $100,000 grand prize presented to Norden, each finalist received a surprise family vacation from "LIVE," ranging from an exciting Walt Disney World excursion to a luxurious trip to the Atlantis Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas - plus an additional $10,000 as a special 'thank you' for all that they do.
