LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- A&E has pulled its newcomer "Breaking Boston" after just one airing.
The series - in which four blue-collar women in their twenties try to break the cycle of their peers in a town where education, employment and opportunities are hard to come by - launched this past Thursday at 10:00/9:00c to modest results. Said night averaged just 552,000 viewers for the network, including 284,000 adults 18-49.
A repeat of "The First 48" will fill said hour this coming Thursday, March 20 at 10:00/9:00c.
The following week, March 27, look for current Friday entries "The First 48" and "Beyond Scared Straight" to resume their old Thursday slots at 9:00/8:00c and 10:00/9:00c, respectively.
