DIG (USA/UCP; W: Gideon Raff & Tim Kring; D: S.J. Clarkson) - David Costabile ("Low Winter Sun") has scored a role on the six-episode series, about an FBI agent stationed in Jerusalem (Jason Isaacs) who, while investigating a murder of a young female archeologist, uncovers a conspiracy 2000 years in the making. He'll play Ted Billingham, "an avuncular leader of a reclusive religious cult." Alison Loren Sudol and Anne Heche also star. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - HBO's six-episode revival of its Lisa Kudrow-led comedy "The Comeback" is reportedly scheduled to begin production on May 19 (EOnline.com); Jake Weber has joined the cast of "Hell on Wheels" as John Campbell, "a transplanted carpetbagger using his Reconstruction bag of tricks to profit from the frontier" (THR.com); Richard Belzer's John Munch will return for the season finale of "Law & Order: SVU" (@warrenleightTV); and Super Bowl champion Derrick Coleman will make a cameo on an upcoming episode of "Switched at Birth" (TVGuide.com).
