UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - June 16, 2014 - NBC's "Last Comic Standing" is kicking off a "Comic Comeback" online competition on June 19 that will give fans of the popular series a chance to give their favorite eliminated comic a second chance to appear on the show. "Last Comic Standing," starring Roseanne Barr, Keenen Ivory Wayans and Russell Peters as judges and JB Smoove as host, airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.

After the second semi-final round airs on June 19, two eliminated contestants - selected by the theater audience at the taping - will kick off a head-to-head standup battle. Fans can watch video of the comics' exclusive online standup routines, vote for their favorite at http://nbc.com/comic-comeback or on Twitter with #ComicComeback - and share their vote with friends.

Each week, the winner of this head-to-head will compete against the next comic exiting the television show. The comedian who emerges victorious in the 'Comic Comeback' after five weeks will go on to perform in the finale.

Wanda Sykes ("Wanda Sykes Presents Herlarious") will be the special guest mentor on the June 19 episode. She'll be giving tips and advice to the final group of semi-finalists performing, each hoping to advance to the compelling challenge rounds of the competition featuring the show's top 10 comics.

Page Hurwitz, Wanda Sykes and Javier Winnik are the executive producers of "Last Comic Standing," produced by Universal Television and Push It Productions.
