JUNE 22 NBC'S "SHOW-STOPPING SUNDAY" TO FEATURE GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS(R) ATTEMPTS THROUGHOUT EVENT-FILLED EVENING

'Human Spring' to Jump Over Three Moving Cars While 'Professor Splash' to Dive 26 Feet Into Shallow Pool Engulfed in Flames

Original Two-Hour Episode of No. 1 Summer Reality Series 'America's Got Talent' (9-11 p.m.) Preceded by Fan Favorite 'American Ninja Warrior'

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - June 17, 2014 - NBC has designated June 22 as "Show-Stopping Sunday," with a night full of events, including two record-breaking daredevil attempts that will serve as interstitials throughout the episodes of both "American Ninja Warrior" and "America's Got Talent."

Aaron Evans, aka the "Human Spring," will attempt to break his own current GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS(R) mark of taking 23.28 seconds to jump over three cars moving 30 mph and traveling head on. Evans, a 25-year-old stay-at-home dad from Milwaukee who does not wear any protective gear during the stunt, has perfected his jumps over the past four years by working closely with the cars' drivers.

Also attempting to break a world record Sunday night is Darren Taylor, aka "Professor Splash," who will aim to set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS(R) title for the highest shallow dive into fire. Taylor will jump from slightly more than 26 feet high into an inflatable pool engulfed in flames.

The two events will be hosted by "America's Got Talent" judge Howie Mandel and produced by Peacock Productions.

Following an encore episode of "American Ninja Warrior" (7-9 p.m. ET/PT), NBC will air an original two-hour episode of summer's No. 1 reality program, "America's Got Talent." This is a special night and time for "America's Got Talent."

This episode of "America's Got Talent," airing on a special night and time, will be jam packed with entertainment including an incredible mentalist, several danger seekers, outstanding singers, variety acts that can only be seen on "America's Got Talent" and even a knife throwing nine-year old.
