ROB DYRDEK AND HIS PRODUCTION COMPANY SUPER JACKET SIGN MULTI-YEAR DEAL WITH MTV

Includes "Snack-Off," Additional Seasons of "Ridiculousness" and "Fantasy Factory" and Pilot Development Deal

Santa Monica, CA (June 25, 2014) - MTV has closed a multi-year production deal with Rob Dyrdek and his company Super Jacket. In addition to developing a pilot, the deal includes the return of "Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory" for a seventh season and additional seasons of the hit series "Ridiculousness." His newest hilarious competition series for MTV "Snack-Off," will debut with a one-hour special on Thursday, July 10th at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, following the season five premiere of "Ridiculousness" at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. This will mark a career milestone for Dyrdek with three series in production or airing on the network.

"Rob Dyrdek is an essential part of MTV. From 'Rob & Big' to 'Fantasy Factory,' 'Ridiculousness' and now 'Snack-Off,' Rob has an undeniable appeal to millennials," said MTV President of Programming Susanne Daniels. "He is a creative force with a unique ability to connect with the audience - whether he is in front of or behind the camera. We are truly thrilled to continue our long and successful relationship with Rob."

"MTV has a been a great partner over the years. I'm truly grateful for the platform they've provided for me to create and refine compelling, entertaining media at the highest level. This next chapter will allow myself, Shane Nickerson, and the rest of the Super Jacket team to scale our style of production - inspiring people and making them laugh. We look forward to continually delivering amazing content for years to come," said Rob Dyrdek.

Dyrdek and MTV have enjoyed a long and close relationship for more than eight years. He has executive produced, hosted or starred in four successful series for MTV, beginning with the hilarious modern day odd couple "Rob & Big" which launched in 2006 and ran for three seasons. "Fantasy Factory," a series where Rob and his crew go on the most outrageous and insane adventures on television, debuted in 2009 to successful ratings and is now entering its seventh season. "Ridiculousness," a hit viral series which premiered in 2010 quickly found a loyal audience and is returning for a fifth season on Thursday, July 10th at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. His most recent collaboration with MTV is the new hilarious competition series "Snack-Off," which will premiere season one on July 10th at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT following "Ridiculousness."

"Snack-Off," the new hilarious competition series from the belly of mastermind Rob Dyrdek, brings food and laughter to MTV. Amateur chefs take everyday munchies and battle it out using creativity in the kitchen to transform snack foods into full-fledged meals. In each half hour episode, host Eddie Huang brings his snack-expertise to help guide contestants through a series of unique challenges which range from making an entrée using potato chips as the "Mystery Munchie" to creating a gourmet dessert using jelly beans. Supermodel and food fanatic Chrissy Teigen, comedian Yassir Lester and master chef Jason Quinn sit at the judges table where they taste, debate and determine the amateur chefs' fates. The show promises to leave fans hungry for more.

"Ridiculousness" is coming back on MTV for a hilarious fifth season featuring 20 all-new episodes. Executive Producer and host Rob Dyrdek returns with Sterling "Steelo" Brim and Chanel "West Coast" to break down the most outrageous viral videos and take on brand new categories like "Ambush Makeovers," and "#HashtagIt." This epic season erupts with hysterical moments and fans can expect to see some of their favorite celebrities including David Spade, David Arquette, Larry King, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Maria Menounos, Sage Kotsenburg, from MTV's "Snack-Off" Chrissy Teigen and Eddie Huang, Nate Robinson, Chanel Iman, Danny Way, Paul Rodriguez, and French Montana. This season will also mark a huge milestone as it reaches 100 episodes.
