EMMY AWARD WINNER SEAN HAYES JOINS THE CAST OF THE CBS COMEDY "THE MILLERS" AS A SERIES REGULAR

LOS ANGELES, July 8, 2014 - Emmy Award winner Sean Hayes has joined the cast of THE MILLERS as a series regular. His character will be introduced during the comedy's second season premiere, Thursday, Oct. 30 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Hayes will play Kip Withers, Carol Miller's (Margo Martindale) new best friend and a new source of friction for Carol's son, Nathan (Will Arnett).

"After years of being a fan and hearing from others how wonderful he is to work with, I couldn't be more excited about Sean Hayes joining THE MILLERS," said Greg Garcia, series creator and executive producer. "The thought of he and Margo Martindale as BFFs makes me smile every time I think about it. We're only just getting started, and writing this season's stories has been a blast."

Sean Hayes is an actor, producer and Emmy Award winner for his role as Jack McFarland for eight seasons on the sitcom "Will & Grace." Most recently, Hayes starred in and executive produced the comedy series "Sean Saves the World." His additional television credits include "Smash," "Up All Night" and playing icon Jerry Lewis in "Martin & Lewis."

Hayes' feature film credits include the Bobby and Peter Farrelly comedy "The Three Stooges," "The Bucket List," opposite Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, and the independent drama "Pieces of April," opposite Katie Holmes, Patricia Clarkson and Oliver Platt.

THE MILLERS stars Will Arnett, Beau Bridges, Margo Martindale, Jayma Mays, JB Smoove, Nelson Franklin and Lulu Wilson. Greg Garcia and James Burrows serve as executive producers. The series is produced by CBS Television Studios.
