TERRY CREWS TO HOST NEW UNSCRIPTED SERIES "WORLD'S FUNNIEST FAILS," PREMIERING FRIDAY, JANUARY 16, ON FOX

Star of the hit series BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, Terry Crews, has been tapped to host the new unscripted comedy WORLD'S FUNNIEST FAILS, premiering Friday, Jan. 16 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Crews also hosts the syndicated game show "Who Wants to be a Millionaire."

"Terry Crews is already a cherished member of the FOX family. He's larger than life, quick on his feet and crammed with charisma," said David Madden, President of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. "We can't wait to see him interact with the funniest, most spectacular fails on the planet."

"This show is going to be a blast," said Crews. "Like everyone else, I find myself watching these viral videos with my kids and cracking up at the hysterical fails from around globe, which is why I'm so excited to host WORLD'S FUNNIEST FAILS. It's going to be non-stop laughter, fun for the whole family and I can't wait!"

An irreverent one-hour series, WORLD'S FUNNIEST FAILS is inspired by the hit YouTube channel, FailArmy, which showcases the best "epic fail" viral videos in the most entertaining ways possible. Each week a panel of celebrities and comedians will analyze the videos which have exploded across the internet, with the goal of awarding one with the ultimate "Fail of the Week." Panelists to be announced soon.

Owned and operated by Jukin Media, the worldwide leader in the discovery, acquisition and distribution of user-generated and viral video content, FailArmy is the premier destination for the funniest videos on the web. FailArmy is a Top 100 YouTube channel with more than six million subscribers and one billion total video views.

Action-movie hero, sitcom star, syndicated game show host, advertising pitchman, former NFL player and best-selling author all describe the man that is Terry Crews. Over the past few years, Crews has been one of those actors whom fans see almost everywhere. As the overworked dad on "Everybody Hates Chris," a tough guy in the feature franchise "The Expendables," the loveable goofball in "White Chicks," "Will McAvoy's" bodyguard in "The Newsroom," the pec-popping Old Spice pitchman and randy congressman "Herbert Love" in "Arrested Development," Crews has proven that he's adept at both drama and comedy. He currently stars as "Sgt. Terry Jeffords" on FOX's Golden Globe Award-winning and SAG Award-nominated comedy series BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, and he is also the newest host of the popular syndicated game show "Who Wants to be a Millionaire." Audiences could also catch Crews on the big screen last year, with roles in Tyler Perry's "The Single Mom's Club"; "Draft Day," with Kevin Costner; and "Blended," with Adam Sandler. Not one to limit himself, Crews also added author to his resume last year with the release of his first book, "Manhood."

WORLD'S FUNNIEST FAILS is produced by dick clark productions (dcp) and Jukin Media. Allen Shapiro, CEO of dick clark productions; Mike Mahan, President of dick clark productions; Jonathan Skogmo, Founder and CEO of Jukin Media; Josh Entman, Cofounder and Chief Development Officer of Jukin Media; and Nicolle Yaron will serve as executive producers.
