USA NETWORK FORMS UNPRECEDENTED PARTNERSHIP WITH, ESCAPE THE ROOM, TO CREATE ON-THE-GROUND "DIG" THEMED ADVENTURE FOR CONSUMERS IN FIVE MAJOR CITIES

In This Immersive Game Attraction Participants Must Race Against the Clock To Unlock Clues, Crack Codes and 'Dig' Their Way Out of Mysterious Rooms in New York, Boston, Philadelphia and the Universal Theme Parks in Both Hollywood and Orlando

DIG Premieres on USA Network on March 5 at 10/9c

UNIVERSAL, CA - February 12, 2015 - In a first of its kind partnership, USA is joining forces with the popular immersive attraction, Escape the Room, and game creator, Victor Blake, to bring to life the experience of DIG, the network's epic mystery event series premiering March 5 at 10/9. The special show-themed edition of Escape the Room challenges game enthusiasts to work together in small groups -- and literally escape from a locked room -- by solving riddles, cracking codes and analyzing artifacts before time runs out. To win, they must think outside the box - or else remain trapped inside it.

DIG: ESCAPE THE ROOM will be live in New York, Boston and Philadelphia, and will be a special event experience at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resorts. The stars of the series, including Jason Isaacs ("Awake," "Harry Potter") and Anne Heche ("Save Me"), will be in select cities to kick-off the activation beginning with the launch in New York City on February 26.

"We're always on the lookout for unique ways to extend our storytelling beyond the screen and Escape The Room offers just that: a perfect opportunity to give fans a real world experience that mirrors the emotions they will feel when watching USA's new event series DIG," said Alexandra Shapiro, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Digital, USA Network, "Much like the highly-anticipated series, the Escape The Room experience will be richly layered with mystery, suspense and intrigue. Just when visitors think they have everything figured out they will be met with a surprising twist."

"What keeps people coming back to Escape the Room is the thrill of discovery, the high stakes that comes with working as a team, and racing the clock in an effort to escape," said Game Master Blake, "The themes of DIG provided a rich foundation to build a multi-layered game with hidden twists and unexpected turns; with every clue you solve and every secret you reveal, you peel back another layer of the story."

Starting in New York City, Escape the Room has quickly become the #1 live game and entertainment company in the United States. DIG: ESCAPE THE ROOM is the company's first television show themed experience and was designed from scratch by Blake combining elements from DIG with his critically acclaimed interactive puzzle concept. The result is a one-of-a-kind themed experience that gives visitors the opportunity to unravel an epic mystery of their own, physically immersing them into the show's dark world of conspiracies.

For exact locations and times of operation please visit, http://DIGEscapeTheRoom.com. Registration for the experience begins on February 19.

From the executive producers and creators of "Heroes" and "Homeland" (Tim Kring and Gideon Raff), DIG tells the story of a murder mystery set against the backdrop of modern day Jerusalem, a city shrouded in ancient intrigue. When FBI agent Peter Connelly (Golden Globe nominee Jason Isaacs, "Awake") takes a job stationed in Israel, he has no idea what is in store for him. As he sets out to solve the murder of a young American, he soon finds himself embroiled in an international mystery that delves into the Holy Land's darkest secrets. What Peter discovers is a conspiracy thousands of years in the making that threatens to change the course of history. While he races to figure out what it all means, he quickly finds that he may not be the only one searching for answers.

The series also stars Emmy Award-winner Anne Heche ("Save Me"), Alison Sudol ("Transparent"), David Costabile ("Breaking Bad"), Screen Actors Guild Award-winner Richard E. Grant ("Downton Abbey"), Golden Globe Award-winner Regina Taylor ("The Unit"), Emmy Award nominee Lauren Ambrose ("Six Feet Under"), Tony Award nominee Omar Metwally ("Non-Stop") and Ori Pfeffer ("World War Z").

DIG is from Universal Cable Productions (UCP) and was developed by Keshet, in association with Gail Berman ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") of The Jackal Group and Gene Stein ("Deception"). Keshet's Avi Nir ("Homeland"), Alon Shtruzman and Karni Ziv also serve as executive producers.
