BLINDSPOT (NBC/WBT; W: Martin Gero; D: Mark Pellington) - Jaimie Alexander (Thor: The Dark World) has booked the female lead in the drama pilot, about Jane Doe, a beautiful woman, with no memories of her past, who is found naked in Times Square with her body fully covered in intricate tattoos. Her discovery sets off a vast and complex mystery that immediately ignites the attention of the FBI who begin to follow the road map on her body to reveal a larger conspiracy of crime while bringing her closer to discovering the truth about her identity. (Deadline.com)

CODE BLACK (CBS/ABCS/CBSP; W: Michael Seitzman; D: David Semel) - Marcia Gay Harden (Fifty Shades of Grey) is the first to be cast in the drama pilot, set in the busiest and most notorious ER in the nation - LA County Hospital - where the extraordinary staff confronts a broken system in order to protect their ideals and the patients who need them the most. She's set as Christa Hardin, "a former soccer mom whose son died of cancer. She is now a newly minted, talented and dedicated doctor whose experience handling her son's disease, coupled with her intuition and life experience, makes her see things that often escape her much younger fellow residents." (Deadline.com)

DELORES & JERMAINE (ABC/ABCS; W: Jermaine Fowler; D: TBA) - "The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg is set to star opposite Jermaine Fowler in the comedy pilot, about a millennial with big ideas, but very little drive, who moves in with his estranged grandmother, a strict, football-loving, former DC cop who needs his youthful enthusiasm in her life as much as he needs her old-school parenting. She'll play said grandmother in the project, which will film in New York City. (Deadline.com)

DR. KEN (ABC/ABCS/Sony; W: Jared Stern; D: Scott Ellis) - Albert Tsai ("Trophy Wife") has joined the cast of the Ken Jeong-led multi-camera comedy, about a brilliant physician with zero bedside manner. He'll play his son, Dave, an eternal optimist. (Deadline.com)

GRANDPA (FOX/ABCS; W: Danny Chun; D: TBA) - Josh Peck has been tapped to star opposite John Stamos in the single-camera comedy pilot, about Jimmy (Stamos), a charismatic longtime bachelor whose life is upended when he discovers he's a father - and a grandfather. He'll play Gerald, "the son Jimmy didn't know he had - a sweet unemployed techie who is himself the proud and surprisingly capable father of a two-year-old daughter, the product of a one-night stand with the sexy Vanessa." (Deadline.com)

OUTSIDERS (WGN; W: Peter Mattei; D: TBA) - Australian actress Gillian Alexy is the latest addition to the upcoming drama, about a struggle for power and control set in the rugged and mysterious hills of Appalachia. She'll play G'Winn Farrell. "With a toughness that comes from living off the land in the mountains for all of her life, G'Winn is a survivor and unexpected, piercing beauty. As Asa's friend and confidante, she will push him to take a position of power among their people." Christina Jackson, David Morse, Joe Anderson, Kyle Gallner, Ryan Hurst and Thomas M. Wright also star. (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED NBA PROJECT (ABC/ABCS; W: Casey Johnson & David Windsor; D: TBA) - Skylar Astin ("Ground Floor") has scored a lead role on the single-camera comedy pilot, set in the world of the NBA about a rookie who doesn't speak English and a translator who doesn't speak basketball. He'll play the translator, Jason, "an average-sweet and a little wimpy guy with no athletic prowess who is working as a teaching assistant and living in his parents' basement when he is recruited by the NBA team." (Deadline.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Entertainment One has signed on to produce NBC's limited series "The Decalogue," a re-imagining of the celebrated Polish 10-part series, from executive producers Todd Ellis Kessler, Stephen McPherson, Debra Stasson and Beata Pisula (Deadline.com); Jim Starlin is looking to bring his superhero comic book "Dreadstar" to the small screen via Universal Cable Productions and Benderspink (Deadline.com); Simon Merrells has booked an eight-episode arc on "Dominion" as "the cunning and powerful leader of New Delphi who will go to any lengths to protect his city" (Deadline.com); and Cristian de la Fuente has joined the cast of "Devious Maids" in a yet-to-be-revealed role (THR.com).
