"CRIMINAL MINDS: BEYOND BORDERS"

"Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" (spinoff) stars Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Gary Sinise in a drama about the specialized International Division of the FBI tasked with solving crimes and coming to the rescue of American citizens who find themselves in danger while abroad. Heading the department is Unit Chief Jack Garrett (Sinise), a seasoned 20-year veteran of the Bureau. The team he trusts with his life includes Matthew Simmons (Daniel Henney), a former military hero with split second profiling skills he honed on the battlefield; and Russ "Monty" Montgomery (Tyler James Williams), the unit's compassionate, brilliant tech analyst who additionally liaises stateside with the families of those in trouble while his group is far from home. These exceptional agents are dedicated to safely returning U.S. residents home by profiling and identifying criminals who are beyond our borders. The pilot was a planted spin-off of an episode of "Criminal Minds" (broadcast on April 8, 2015). "CODE BLACK"

Based on the award-winning documentary by Ryan McGarry, is a heart-pounding medical drama that takes place in the busiest ER in the nation, where the staggering influx of patients can outweigh the limited resources available to the extraordinary doctors and nurses whose job is to treat them all - creating a condition known as Code Black. At the heart of the ER's controlled chaos is Residency Director Dr. Leanne Rorish (Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden), renowned for successfully performing high-risk procedures in Center Stage, the trauma area reserved for the most critical cases. Her four new first-year residents are Christa Lorenson (Bonnie Somerville), Malaya Pineda (Melanie Kannokada), Mario Savetti (Benjamin Hollingsworth) and Angus Leighton (Harry M. Ford). Leanne's confidante, Jesse Sallander (Luis Guzman), is an amiable seen-it-all senior nurse who manages the residents. Also working in the ER is Dr. Neal Hudson (Raza Jaffrey), an excellent physician who sometimes disagrees with Leanne's "cowboy" approach, and Dr. Rollie Guthrie (William Allen Young), the energetic, longest-serving attending. In Center Stage, life is measured in seconds, and these heroic doctors and nurses operate with speed and skill within an overwhelmed system to treat the crowds of people who are often there for one of two reasons: to die or to receive a life-saving miracle. "Code Black" stars Marcia Gay Harden as Leanne, Bonnie Sommerville as Christa, Raza Jaffrey as Neal, Luis Guzman as Jesse, Melanie Kannokada as Malaya, Harry M. Ford as Angus, Benjamin Hollingsworth as Mario, and William Allen Young as Guthrie. "Code Black" was written by Michael Seitzman. The pilot was directed by David Semel ("Madam Secretary").

For FOX:

"GRANDFATHERED"

What's the fastest way to put the brakes on a cruise-controlled bachelor lifestyle? Fatherhood? Guess again. Television icon John Stamos ("Full House," "ER") stars in a new comedy about the ultimate bachelor who discovers he's not only a father, but a grandfather. Successful restaurateur and man-about-town Jimmy Martino (Stamos) is used to being the most suave, most handsome and most single person in the room. All that changes with the surprise appearance of Jimmy's adult son, Gerald (Josh Peck, "The Mindy Project"), and his baby daughter, Edie. Now Jimmy has to unlearn a lifetime of blissful selfishness and grapple with the fact that he went straight from single to grandfather in six seconds flat. Keeping tabs on Jimmy is Gerald's mother and Jimmy's former girlfriend, rocker chick-turned-mother Sara (Paget Brewster, "Criminal Minds," "Community"). Equally concerned about how Jimmy will manage these new developments is Jimmy's restaurant family, especially assistant manager Annaelise (Kelly Jenrette, "Audrey") and chef Ken (Ravi Patel, "Super Fun Night"). Can Jimmy teach Gerald to be a little more like him in order to win the affection of Edie's hot mess of a mom, Vanessa (Christina Milian, "Family Guy," "Baggage Claim")? Will Jimmy and Sara fall for each other all over again, even though she's the one thing he never dates - a woman his own age? And who's higher maintenance, Jimmy or the baby? "Grandfathered" was written by Danny Chun. Daniel Chun, Dan Fogelman and John Stamos are executive producers for ABC Studios in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Chris Koch directed the pilot.
