ATLANTA - June 1, 2015 - UP, the network for feel good TV for you and your family, presents the return of the hit UP Original Series "Bringing Up Bates," which takes a fresh look at a loving American family with 19 children and larger-than-life personalities, for an all-new season. The series returns for its second season with 14 all-new episodes exclusively on UP, starting this Thursday, June 4 at 9 p.m. EDT.

Highlights this season include Brandon's romantic engagement to Michaella in Washington, D.C. and the couple's plans leading into their just-announced August 15th wedding in Knoxville, TN; dramatic milestones in Erin's challenging first pregnancy and joyful birth of baby Carson; the birth of Alyssa & John's first child, Allie Jane, in Orlando, FL; the family's unique, annual "I Love You Day" celebration; a fun-filled annual family trip to the lake; Addee and Ellie's joint birthday pool party; and a joyful season finale, featuring the family's singing debut at Dolly Parton's Dollywood!

Descriptions for the first four episodes of the season are as follows:

Thursday, June 4 at 9 p.m. EDT "Bringing Up Bates" Episode 201 - "All Together Again" (1-hour episode) In the season two premiere, the family celebrates their special tradition, "I Love You Day," with surprise gifts (and surprise guests) for the whole family. Gil, Kelly Jo and the couples go out on a quintuple date and everyone joins together to prepare for Alyssa's baby shower!

Thursday, June 11 at 9 p.m. EDT "Bringing Up Bates" Episode 202 - "Future In-Laws" Gil, Kelly Jo and Michael head to Chicago to see Brandon's parents. Brandon corners Gil for a "heart to heart" talk in the most unlikely of places! Meanwhile, back in Tennessee, Erin and the kids rush to redecorate their parent's bedroom before Gil and Kelly Jo get back.

Thursday, June 18 at 9 p.m. EDT "Bringing Up Bates" Episode 203 - "High Risk, High Hopes" Erin and Chad meet with Dr. Vick to discuss the risk of having a stillbirth and the precautions they must take for the rest of her pregnancy. Later, the couple invites Zach, Whitney and baby Bradley over for dinner while the older boys square off against the younger ones in a giant game of capture the fort!

Thursday, June 25 at 9 p.m. EDT "Bringing Up Bates" Episode 204 - "Meema Moves In" Gil and Kelly Jo take Trace and Josie to the orthodontist to get braces, and Gil reveals how he can afford orthodontia for so many kids. Later, Kelly Jo's mother Meema announces that she wants to live closer to the kids. So Kelly Jo takes her house hunting, but the task proves tougher than anyone could have imagined.

Led by devoted father Gil (50) and his loving wife Kelly Jo (48), the Bates do everything in bulk, while staying true to their core values and rules for the family - which means that everyone has chores, watches DVDs and classic programming rather than TV, the girls only wear dresses and more. With a grand total of 19 children ranging in age from 3 to 26, they are the definition of a "big, happy family." But lately - as viewers will see - their simple rural lifestyle in Tennessee is in a flurry of transitions and is continually challenged by the modern world. The hit UP Original Series continues this season to explore new, ever-changing family dynamics. This abundant family continues to have bigger drama, bigger challenges and bigger life events to celebrate in the UP Original Series "Bringing Up Bates."

UP presents "Bringing Up Bates," an UP Entertainment production in association with Figure 8 Films. Executive Producers are Bill Hayes, Kirk Streb and Matthew Hightower.
