WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT (HBO, New!) - Zev Borow ("Forever") is looking to bring David Shafer's darkly comedic debut novel - about "three young adults grappling with the usual thirtysomething problems - boredom, authenticity, and omnipotent online oligarch" - to the small screen. Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment is behind the half-hour comedy with Shafer himself as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network has opted not to go forward with its docu-series featuring Atlanta resident Jay Williams who says he fathered 34 children with 17 different women (Deadline.com); "Gang Related" creator Scott Rosenbaum has been tapped as showrunner of USA's new drama "Queen of the South" (Deadline.com); Erika Christensen, Cobie Smulders, Grace Gummer, Dylan Baker, Peter McRobbie, Treat Williams and Bill Irwin are all bound for HBO's "Confirmation" as Shirley Weigand, Harriet Grant, Ricki Seidman, Orrin Hatch, Alan Simpson, Ted Kennedy and John Danforth respectively (Deadline.com, THR.com)

NBC Will Now Offer a Special Premiere of "The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins" on Sunday, Jan. 18 Immediately Following Coverage of the NFL Playoff Game
The series will return on Monday, February 23 at 8 p.m. with an encore of the pilot and a new episode immediately following at 8:30 p.m. in its timeslot premiere.
