COMEDY CENTRAL(R) LAUNCHES "THE BONFIRE WITH BIG JAY OAKERSON AND DAN SODER," THE FIRST LIVE WEEKLY SHOW ON SIRIUSXM'S COMEDY CENTRAL RADIO, ON MONDAY, JULY 27

Big Jay Oakerson and Dan Soder to Each Film His First Comedy Central One-Hour Stand-Up Special to Premiere in 2016

NEW YORK, July 27, 2015 - Listen up everyone, Comedy Central is launching its first live weekly show on SiriusXM's Comedy Central Radio (channel 95). "The Bonfire with Big Jay Oakerson and Dan Soder" will premiere on Monday, July 27 and will air live every Monday and Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET with repeats throughout the week.

Hosted by comedians Big Jay Oakerson and Dan Soder, "The Bonfire" invites listeners and friends to come and hang out by the radio bonfire as the blunt and candid duo talk about everything from comedy and entertainment to sports, sharing their funniest stories from the road and giving fans a chance to call in and get their opinions on the topics of the day.

"This radio show has existed since the day Soder and I met, now we finally get a chance to share it with a live audience," said Oakerson.

Soder added, "Looking forward to having fun on the radio with Jay!"

Launched in January 2013, Comedy Central Radio on SiriusXM (channel 95) is a 24/7 channel airing an unparalleled and dedicated collection of stand-up comedy from today's top comedians to tomorrow's rising stars.

Oakerson and Soder to each film their first Comedy Central one-hour original stand-up special, which are both set to debut in 2016 (dates TBA).

Philadelphia born and raised Jay Oakerson has risen the ranks of New York City comedy to become truly one of the best at the art of storytelling. Dubbed recently by The New York Times as a "Master of the Dirty Joke," Oakerson has also mastered the art of Crowd Work. The comedian currently has a new full length album, "The Crowd Work Sessions: What's Your F@!?ng Deal?" on Comedy Central Records, recorded live at The Stand Comedy Club in New York City. It's his second album with the label, following his critically acclaimed "An American Storyteller."

Oakerson is recognized for his numerous television appearances such as "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and the hit IFC show "Z-Rock," where he received critical acclaim for his performance as "Neil." He has also appeared on BET's "Comic View," HBO's "P. Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy" and Comedy Central's "The Half Hour," "This Is Not Happening," "Comedy Underground with Dave Attell," "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn."

Dan Soder, originally from Aurora, CO, started doing stand-up while attending the University of Arizona. After two years of playing clubs and casinos all over the southwest, Soder decided he'd had enough extreme heat and venomous animals, so he moved to New York. After living in New York for nine years, Soder has been featured on Comedy Central's "John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show," and "The Half Hour," "Conan" and "Opie and Anthony." He can be seen on episodes of Comedy Central's "Inside Amy Schumer" and a recurring role on Showtime's new series "Billions" in 2016.

Available on-air, online and on-the-go, Comedy Central (www.cc.com) is the #1 brand in comedy and is owned by, and is a registered trademark of, Comedy Partners, a wholly-owned unit of Viacom Inc. (NASDAQ: VIA and VIAB).
