DISCOVERY FAMILY CHANNEL REUNITES GRATEFUL OWNERS WITH MEANINGFUL MEMENTOS IN HEARTWARMING NEW SERIES, "LOST AND FOUND" (wt)

- Professional Finders Mike Schario and Jesse Brown Travel the United States in Search of Priceless Keepsakes to Help Families Say "Thank You" -

(Beverly Hills, Calif.) - Ever wanted to go back and thank someone - a parent, a teacher or a friend? Discovery Family Channel's all-new original series, LOST AND FOUND (wt), produced by Leftfield Pictures, features the work of "professional finders" who help people do just that. Mike Schario and Jesse Brown own Finders Keepers, a Sugar Creek, Ohio "weird-tique" shop filled to the brim with pop culture memorabilia from the past 50 years - and on the side are also veritable treasure hunters hired to track down long lost, but much loved, items. LOST AND FOUND will debut in November 2015 on Discovery Family Channel, as part of PROJECT THANK YOU, the network's month-long campaign to encourage and empower viewers to express their gratitude to the people in their lives who have made a difference. "LOST AND FOUND is the perfect show to set the tone for the season of gratitude and giving," said Tom Cosgrove, general manager of Discovery Family Channel. "Part-detectives, part-collectors, Mike and Jesse are experts at finding needles - albeit, very precious ones - in a haystack. Their unique ability to locate lost family heirlooms and mementos is more than just a way to say thanks - it brings back priceless memories, reminding the recipient of some of the best times in their lives." "All of us have people in our lives - family members, advocates or mentors - who have helped or inspired us at some point," said Sarah Davies, vice president of production and development for Discovery Family Channel. "With Mike and Jesse's incredible sleuthing skills at hand, this series showcases the stories of individuals who can finally thank those influential people - in the most special way possible." Born to be finders, best friends Mike and Jesse each grew up with a keen talent for finding lost objects - Mike worked alongside his uncle at the Cleveland Municipal Stadium's lost and found department, while Jesse would hide and search for buried treasures in his grandmother's backyard. Coworkers and friends for several years - and with their mutual interest discovered - the two opened Finders Keepers in 2012. In this eight-part series, Mike and Jesse leave no stone unturned as they take their expertise on the road to help families across America find a lost or significant personal item for the purpose of saying thank you to the influential people in their lives. LOST AND FOUND follows Mike and Jesse as they go to extremes to help families show gratitude, provide closure, and bring back cherished memories. Among the stories featured in LOST AND FOUND:

· 89-year-old Verner is a decorated World War II veteran from Washington State. Vern was honored with a Bronze Star Medal for his bravery after saving a comrade in battle - but missed his ceremony due to illness. 70 years later, his family wants to make this the most special Memorial Day for their father by recreating the Medal ceremony, and by teaming up with Mike and Jesse to track down a cherished lost relic - a Japanese Peace Flag signed by Vern and members of his infantry. ? Joe had his share of tough breaks, so when he realized he could give back by helping disadvantaged kids overcome challenges in their lives, he became a foster parent - to 17 children, in addition to his two biological children. Now, two of his children have enlisted Mike and Jesse's help to find Joe's father's antique watch to thank him for giving them a second chance at life and at having the family they never had.

· 29-year-old Zach is a Filipino immigrant and a beloved member of the Chattanooga antiquing community. Zach's godmother had an old Coca-Cola wall clock hanging on the wall of her laundromat in Chickamauga, Georgia until it was auctioned off after she passed away. Zach handled the transaction and was heartbroken to lose his only tangible connection to his family in the United States. Now, his boss and good friend Mack asks Mike and Jesse to find the clock - and bring it back where it belongs. LOST AND FOUND will air as part of Discovery Family's multi-platform campaign, PROJECT THANK YOU. This November, Discovery Family Channel will showcase the best and most touching stories of families, friends and strangers getting the chance to say 'thank you' to the people who changed their lives - from parents, to teachers, to the crossing guard you see every day. Additional details on PROJECT THANK YOU will be announced at a later date.

LOST AND FOUND is produced for Discovery Family Channel by Leftfield Pictures. For Leftfield Pictures, Brent Montgomery, David George, Shawn Witt, Ed Simpson and Jason Hollis serve as executive producers. For Discovery Family Channel, Sarah Davies is vice president of production and development, Tom Cosgrove is general manager, and Henry Schleiff is Group President.
