Brit Morgan cast as "Supergirl's" newest adversary
A new character has joined the highly-anticipated CBS show.
Supergirl now has one more adversary to deal with.
CBS just announced that actress Brit Morgan (True Blood) will join the cast of the highly-anticipated action drama this fall. Morgan will star as Leslie Willis, described as a confident, abrasive, funny shock-jock who works for CatCo Media, run by Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart). An accident, however, transforms her into the dangerous villain Livewire, making her "as dangerous and shocking as her words." It's then up to Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) to stop her.
Morgan joins another recently cast adversary: actor Chris Browning as the supercharged malefactor, Ben Krull, aka Reactron. In the DC Universe, Krull is best known for his long-standing rivalry with Superman in Metropolis and for wearing an armored suit which is powered with nuclear energy. After being defeated by the Man of Steel, the humiliated Krull has decided to go after his nemesis with something even stronger than Kryptonite: his family.
It looks like Supergirl will certainly have her hands full. She better have that cape ironed and ready to go.
Watch Supergirl on CBS on Oct. 26.
