ELECTUS & BARRACUDA PRODUCTIONS ACQUIRE RIGHTS TO "TREASURE HUNT"

Executive Producer Barry Poznick to Adapt the Classic Game Show for A New Generation

Los Angeles, CA -- (September 15, 2015) --Multimedia entertainment studio Electus, an operating business of IAC (NASDAQ: IACI), today announced that Barracuda Television Productions has acquired the rights to Treasure Hunt, one of the original comedy/game show hybrids from the golden age of television.

The basic premise will remain the same: a single contestant selects one of 30 "treasure chests" and wins what's inside. The catch is that there are comedic distractions that create laughter and heighten the tension at each decision point. One wrong choice can mean the difference between the contestant winning a Rolls Royce or a broken unicycle.

The new version of Treasure Hunt comes from Barracuda Television Productions' founder, Barry Poznick (who just wrapped ABC's update of To Tell The Truth), along with producing partners Wink Martindale (Tic-Tac-Dough, High Rollers), and John Ricci, Jr. (The Joker's Wild, The Pyramid). Poznick has created and produced dozens of hit TV shows airing in more than 150 countries around the world including Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? and Family Game Night.

"Treasure Hunt combines the laughter and lunacy of The Gong Show, with the decision making and risk taking of Deal or No Deal," said Poznick. "There's been a growing appetite for the classic game shows we grew up with, and we're excited to bring Treasure Hunt to a new generation of fans."

The original Treasure Hunt was created and hosted by comedian Jan Murray in the 1950's and ran on ABC and NBC in primetime. The show was later revived in the 1970's by Chuck Barris (Newlywed Game, The Gong Show) and was a ratings success for five years in syndication. Contestants were asked to pick from an array of brightly colored "treasure chests." Each chest contained unique prizes and props that were revealed slowly and comically (by the host and a cast of characters), putting the contestant through an emotional roller coaster of laughter and suspense.

Barracuda Television Productions will produce the unscripted series in conjunction with Electus. Barry Poznick and Chris Grant of Electus will serve as Executive Producers.
