The project, from CBS Television Studios, is based on Stefan Petrucha's novel of the same name. Stephen Hegyes will also executive produce for Reality Distortion Field. (THR.com)

UNTITLED JOHN PHILLIPS PROJECT (NBC, New!) - John Phillips (Dirty Grandpa) has booked a new single-camera comedy at the Peacock about "a brother and sister illegally use their access to law enforcement information at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office to start a private detective agency right under the noses of their bosses and solve the cases that fall in between the cracks." 20th Century Fox Television-based Lord Miller is behind the project, which has a penalty attached. The company's Phil Lord and Chris Miller then will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
