(Deadline.com)

Beyond the crumpled cars are invisible dramas, and when the police start their investigation they find themselves drawn into many different and dangerous worlds including government cover-ups, smuggling, torn relationships and murder." Eleventh Hour Films, TriStar Television and Carol Mendelsohn Productions are all behind the project with Carol Mendelsohn and Julie Weitz also executive producing. (Deadline.com)

The project, from CBS Television Studios, is based on Stefan Petrucha's novel of the same name. Stephen Hegyes will also executive produce for Reality Distortion Field. (THR.com)

Said effort is set up at CBS Television Studios-based Timberman/Beverly with Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly also serving as executive producers. (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED JOHN PHILLIPS PROJECT (NBC, New!) - John Phillips (Dirty Grandpa) has booked a new single-camera comedy at the Peacock about "a brother and sister illegally use their access to law enforcement information at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office to start a private detective agency right under the noses of their bosses and solve the cases that fall in between the cracks." 20th Century Fox Television-based Lord Miller is behind the project, which has a penalty attached. The company's Phil Lord and Chris Miller then will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
