30-Hour Simpsons New Year's Eve Marathon Begins with A Special Presentation of The Simpsons Movie

LOS ANGELES, December 21, 2015 - FXX is launching its holiday programming today with a series of Christmas-themed mini-marathons of The Simpsons. Then ring in 2016 with a 30-hour The Simpsons marathon featuring a special presentation of The Simpsons Movie at 6 p.m. (ET/PT) on December 31 followed by New Year resolution-themed episodes from the past 26 seasons, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).

FXX's holiday programming schedule is as follows (all times ET/PT):

The fun continues with a New Year's Eve marathon of The Simpsons featuring resolution-themed episodes from the past 26 seasons and be inspired by Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie and the rest of Springfield as they make their resolutions and life-changing decisions. (Begins at 8 p.m.)
