MIND HUNTER (Netflix, New!) - Director David Fincher ("House of Cards") is spearheading another potential drama at the streaming service, based on John Douglas and Mark Olshake's 1996 book "Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit." Joe Penhall (Sunny Afternoon) is penning the Fox 21-based project, which was previously set up at HBO in 2010. He'll succeed original writer Scott Buck however Denver and Delilah Productions' Charlize Theron remains on board as an executive producer as does presumably Jennifer Orme Erwin. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - ABC has quietly begun posting the unaired episodes of its canceled drama "Wicked City" on Hulu (Hulu.com); David Coussins will recur on "Pretty Little Liars" as Jordan, the fiancé of Ashley Benson's Hanna (TVLine.com); and Sonar Entertainment is developing Tim Dorsey's Serge Storms novels as a potential TV series titled "Florida Roadkill" (Deadline.com).
