INFAMOUS, THE (A&E/A+E; W: Joshua Zetumer; D: Anthony Hemingway) - Emily Rios has signed onto the pilot, a drama set against real events in turbulent 1990s Los Angeles leading up to the LA Riots, and centers on two complicated men on a collision course: an ambitious reformed gangster poised to break out of South Central and the LAPD detective hell-bent on taking him down. She'll play Alice Calderon, "a tough, rookie LA police officer, who grew up in the streets of South Central, LA, in the neighborhood that she patrols." Bokeem Woodbine and Vanessa Bell Calloway also star. In addition, Anthony Hemingway is now set to direct, succeeding Rupert Wyatt. (Deadline.com)

SIX (History/A+E; W: David Broyles & William Broyles; D: Lesli Linka Glatter) - Barry Sloane and Edwin Hodge have both been cast in the drama series, which follows a brotherhood of modern American warriors, Navy SEAL Team Six, the best of the best, whose 2014 mission to eliminate a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes awry when they uncover a U.S. citizen working with the terrorists. Hodge will play Robert Chase III, "one of the seals-in-training being considered for Ortiz's replacement"; while Sloane is set as John "Bear" Graves, "the recently appointed leader of Seal Team Six." Dominic Adams and Juan Pablo Raba also star. (Deadline.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - WGN America has opted not to pursue a third season of "Manhattan" (Deadline.com); HBO has tabled its six-part mini-series "Lewis & Clark" while it is redeveloped by writer Michelle Ashford (THR.com); USA has passed on its two-hour supernatural drama pilot "The Wilding" while producer Universal Cable Productions plans to shop the series elsewhere (Deadline.com); Adam West, John Ross Bowie, Christine Baranski, Sara Gilbert and Wil Wheaton will all drop by the 200th episode of "The Big Bang Theory" (THR.com)
