BITCHES (Hulu, New!) - Nzingha Stewart and G.L. Lambert have sold a potential import of the 2013 Brazilian series "As Canalhas," in which "a different woman each week confides her dirty deeds and misadventures to her hair stylist: stories of confronting dominant husbands, turning the tables on frenemies, and finding sweet vengeance after being cruelly pushed to the edge." Red Hour's Ben Stiller, Stuart Cornfeld, Jonathan Krauss and Fernanda Torturra are also among the executive producers with Nicky Weinstock producing. (Deadline.com)
KNIGHTFALL (History/A+E; W: Don Handfield & Richard Rayner; D: TBA) - Tom Cullen is set to star in the upcoming drama, which chronicles the mysterious but true accounts of the Knights Templar. He'll play Landry, "a veteran warrior of the Crusades who becomes the leader of the Templars and serves as the driving force behind their quest to retrieve Christianity's most prized relic: The Holy Grail." Lenkov succeeding Paul Downs Colaizzo and Brett Mahoney as showrunner (Deadline.com); Jenna Fischer has exited fellow CBS newcomer "Man with a Plan" as producers plan to recast the role of Andi in the Matt LeBlanc-led series (Deadline.com); Lionsgate Television is actively searching to give "Nashville" a new home following its cancellation by ABC (@LionsgateTV); Netflix's "Will Arnett"-led "Flaked" is reportedly on track for a second season order of six episodes (THR.com); Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb has been tapped as the new showrunners of "Supernatural" following the pickup of Jeremy Carver's "Frequency" to series at The CW (Deadline.com); and writer Sonny Lee and producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are making the rounds with "a futuristic comedy project [with] multiple production commitments on the table" (Deadline.com).
